To: The BAF Admiraly, From: Cdre. Lord Hamilton - Rubber_Duck - 12-07-2017 Hail, Sirs and Ma'ams, Ladies and Gentlemen. As escpecially Adm. McIntire and Cdre. Steiner know, I have recently had to deal with a case of insubordination by one of our captains, Sir George Hall. Gentlemen, I have just recently been commanded to the Norfolk, and by checking its rosters I have found Captain Sir Geroge Hall being inside my roster. What made me evaluating several plans of using his experience during the upcoming evacuation measures inside Bretonian Space. Now, I have to deal with a possible upcoming court martial of a highly decorated officer due to a case of refusing orders and insubordination. My question is, and I have already checked any papers I could find: Where did the order of getting him re-commanded to New London come from, and where have they been signed? I am especially hoping for answers of Commdore Steiner, and you Sir, Admiral McIntire. The Norfolk, even if not at the first frontier line, is securing the last open route for evacuation, and by this needs every hand of experienced personnel it can get. I am awaiting your reply, Lord Hamilton Commodore Battleship Norfolk, Cambridge System Open for Replies RE: To: The BAF Admiraly, From: Cdre. I believe the order came from Commodore Steiner himself. He most probably interpreted this order as a reason to reinforce the York fleet, picking a seasoned officer with valuable experience against the Gallic Royalist Navy. If Hall has any problems with this order he should have complied and and formally complained like any other officer. For me the case is rather clear, Commodore Steiners only mistake may have been not contacting you to issue the order instead of doing it himself but as you were not available on the Norfolk even that can hardly be called unreasonable. As for the southern defence, you know about the current situation, we need to defend something to supply, not only its supplies. Yet the Norfolk and Cambridge Fleets do not seem to crumble wich makes me believe you can hold that line. respectfully Jacob McIntire RE: To: The BAF Admiraly, From: Cdre. Lord Hamilton - Rubber_Duck - 12-08-2017 Hail, Admiral. Thank you for your fast response. The matter has not been resolved by this, but clearified a bit at least. The order of having Capt. Sir Hall arrested will stand, and a court martial being intiated. With your acceptance, this channel can be closed. Lord Hamilton Commodore Battleship Norfolk, Cambridge System Open for Replies |
