Star Trek Online - Dino - 01-07-2018

Anyone still playing it?

I remember Disco community had a fleet there and played together, but as I seen, that pretty much died out. I started playing it again recently, and I'd love to see some familiar faces there.
Also, if anyone want to try it out, just bug me and I'l give you few tips about the game & some stuff to give you a head-start.

I still have my lovely Iconian Escort, but the end-game is so incredibly boring and repetitive. :/

You can always start a new char. Or push it for the perfect build, or go for all of the accolades, exploring, collecting cool stuff, unlocking new ships, anything! Well, it depends from person to person, but I'm far from getting bored of it.

No, there's three separate servers for PC, XBOX and PS4.

I used to play that, I used to have a romulan scimitar. Damn I was so proud of my ship. But idk the grind kinda killed me off.

RE: Star Trek Online - Dino - 01-07-2018

The grind system is much better than it used to be, now within 2-3 weeks you can max out your character, get a decent equipment and ship to do anything you want. Of course, if you want every piece of your equipment to be perfect, if you want that one ship that costs billion credits or something like that, yeah, it'l take few months worth of grind.

They used to have unknown region exploration. You could have random encounters and missions. Do they got that ?

RE: Star Trek Online - Dino - 01-07-2018

Yeah, random encounters, mission and player-scripted missions are everywhere around the map, so you have tons of stuff to do wherever you go. Exploration is far from Disco type of exploration; all systems are shown on galaxy map and everything is mapped out from the start.

I kept the disco fleet going. If anyone wants back in ill invite.
