OPERATION: XATA
A long overdue operation to make use of salvaged components from the Vault, and various other locations across Sirius that were marked for sweep and retrieval, as well as new components obtained from open market sources to construct the first phase of an orbital depot by Planet Elgin.
Phase one.
The first level of construction on Xata is to establish a presence in orbit, as well as a traffic control point and waystation for patrols and other assets in the area. The initial deployment is not major, but remains a significant milestone in the infrastructure of Covenant space. This depot will be outfitted with refueling points, sensor nodes and residential/security sections. It will serve as an outpost until an expansion can be planned accordingly.
