News Feed

This concerns Order Primary and recruits of the Advanced Training Group. Captain David Freisener, whose ship Seti's Pride was critically damaged in battle a few days back, has recovered from critical injuries and is now stable in Toledo's medical ward 3-C. He will be able to have visitors shortly.

To the Primary Fleet.
Greetings This is Captain Tiberius of the Iron Legion ship Repentance.
I have noticed a growing trend of Navy and LSF pilots entering Minor on a more regular basis. At the moment they are of the small class ships.
I am concerned that this may be a prelude to invasion by Liberty forces.
Any further situation will be reported to the Primary Fleet
Are the orders still as follows
1. Fighters, Bombers, are to be escorted out.
2. Gunboats and capital ships are Kill on Sight.
3. Any refusal to leave is KOS.
I await the High Commands Orders.

Captain Tiberius "out"

As you may or may not know, a BHG Mako was in O-Minor recently this is a report on it, and the subsequent recon mission to O-Iota that resulted from that encounter.

As I undocked from the Isis in my VHF, I immediately detected a Mako IDed as BattleShark surrounded by a small fleet of Order ships. I flew over to the location and asked for the sit-rep so I knew what I was getting into. The ship apparently was an AI and was looking for friends. I switched out for my bomber, expecting a heavy fight (which I, eventually, got). After watching the interactions for a few minutes I suggested we EMP it, and take the ship for ourselves, after a few minutes though it appeared we didnt have to and I suggested that it could be our friend if it would shoot moving blue targets. Mephisto, who was the lead person talking to it, told this to the AI and, at first, it thought it meant to look on our ships for blue targets. A little while longer and we convinced it to come to O-Iota.

I along with the carriers OSS-Naos and OCV-Malden81 and Sergeant Julian Orley and Mephisto flying fighter escort accompanied the BattleShark AI to the Delta JH and then to the Iota hole.
After we jumped, we came under attack by a few flights of nomad bombers and assassins but they were no match for us, and we managed to get past the weapon platform guarding their side of the JH with little if any damage and we rendezvoused at the wreck of the Mururoa. I suggested that we could make the Mako, this was only a suggestion, go straight into the hornets nest and make it do what damage it could, however it overheard and wasnt to happy about it, we managed to smooth things over though and instead we went in quietly, moving carefully through the minefield. After a few tedious minutes evading mines, we arrived at a clearing that contained what we believed to be a nomad power node and what we confirmed to be a nomad version of a trade lane. After engaging and defeating a few wings of nomad attack wings we established ourselves near the lane, I went through alone first and came under heavy attack and spotted a huge nomad installation similar to the one inside the dyson sphere that was destroyed in the nomad war. I soon retreated back into the lane. After advising the others about the situation on the other end of the lane I activated my guncam and went back through. Everyone else soon followed and engaged the defenders while I concentrated on getting a good batch of recon photos (see attachments). After I got the photos I started assisting in the battle.

We engaged maybe four or five wings of nomads before the order came through to leave. BattleShark had wondered to the far side of the clearing and my scans told me its shields were down. I headed over to assist while everyone else was retreating, that ship could be a good ally in the future and I wasnt about to let that ship be destroyed in hostile territory. After I arrived at its location I escorted it to the nearest nomad lane. It took us to another installation; this one looked more like a human installation although it had some nomad battleships in a human style dry-dock. The AI was spouting things like Bigger places and ooh bigger one and was moving towards the installation. I managed to convince it to retreat telling it that if it got destroyed we would be upset. We moved into the minefield and I got split up because I often had an assassin on my tail. I heard the BattleShark say that it was lost and didnt know where it was. Eventually I came across an unknown nomad structure in a clear area; it didnt match any known designs. It gave me a bad feeling..... I saw another lane at the edge of the clearing, and it took me back to the large nomad installation. I had been through all except one of the lanes and I hoped it would take me to some kind of entry way. I was right but the areas defences proved just as effective at keeping people in as they would at keeping people out as it does keeping people in, I took a lot of damage and barely managed to activate the lane. After I got about halfway through the lane, I dropped out into the minefield. I finally had a break and I used it to plot a course back to the others who were waiting for me at the Mururoa. When I arrived I told them that if BattleShark wasnt located I would stay and look for him. We headed for the JH and the weapons platform wasnt able to stop us. We found the Mako on the other side Mephisto and I where assigned to escort him back to Freeport 11. The ship was a bit quirky though and its course took it straight at one of the stars and it didnt change course until Mephisto asked it to take a course around the star instead of into it. When we got near the Freeport we spotted Jeremy Hunter and the BattleShark, after hearing some of the transmission hunter was sending, commented that he had a big ego. After leaving the mako at the Freeport we set a course for the Isis, the ship followed us though and Im not sure if it came back into minor or not.

I believe that this BattleShark would be a valuable asset to invest in. I also believe that the pilot Mephisto would make an excellent candidate for the ATG wing.

SUBJECT No.1: [color=#FFFFFF]Liberty Navy Intrusions in Order space
TO: IL-Repentance, Captain Tiberius

Greetings Captain;

I have also noticed increased Navy crafts intrusions into our space.
As matter of fact, yesterday I personally met 2 Liberty Navy dreadnought class vessels passing through our space for Omicron Delta.
They have been noticed by Captain David Freisener onboard Seti's Pride.
At first contact we had intention to neutralize those vessels, as they were carrying important intel about Nomads in those areas,
but since both of the vessels have large crew members, we decided to do complete data and memory wipe on their drives.
All the collected data about Order and Nomads have been removed from their ship records.

Mentioned ships flew under names:
LNS-Pacific
LNS-Nespresso

They have been escorted towards Alaska JH under heavy guard, and strict warnings have been issued. This was their last and only violation of Order space.
If they dare to do it again, all Order forces have full authority to destroy named vessels on first sight.
Smaller class vessels are to be escorted immediately to Alaska, any refusal of cooperation results with use
of force.

[color=#FFFF00]SUBJECT No.2
: "Battleshark" mako class vessel
TO: All Order forces

[color=#FFFFFF]We had contacts with this mako before, his intentions were unclear.
Few times his actions looked like hostile, but definitely it is not regular mako commanded by full battleship crew and Captain.
We believe it is piloted by advanced Artificial Intelligence unit.
Current orders are to keep eye on him, and if possible restrict his free movements around Minor, until we have more intel about it.

SUBJECT: AI research progress

Greetings Admiral,

Like I say'd, I will keep you up to date about research on the salvaged part from that Ai ship "BattleShark".
Scientists told me to send you the recovered data but they say'd that there is no full data about the ship, because it ended as scrap, so some data might be false.

Message:
"Sir, this is the Researcher Adam Montgomery Williams speaking. We researched some salvage parts and we found out that this ship's AI was damaged by Nomads. We are stil researching why this AI had nomads onbord, because we didn't find any signs of human acctivity from the salvage. It seems that this ship was somekind of a BHG AI project but there is no 100% proof, because we had a differient theories. I strongly suggest that you send me those nomads that you recovered for research... and what we think is that there are more ships like these. However, we are not sure about it... We suggest that you keep eye on this.
END

Admiral... what should we do? We lost one of our engineers onboard that ship allready, what if they find out that we got some data about that ship, ofcourse if there are more ships like this? I strongly recommend to stop this project... and to be honest I don't like that researchers are working on our ship...

O and Admiral... Should I send a full report about what happened? For those who don't know what happened...

Good luck,
David Corbin.

Greetings,

besides the Report of Ensign Shepard, i would like you to inform about the
recent developments in our Secondary Fleet.

To keep it short, we did some Combat Simulations, introduced them to
Primary Fleet Procedures, the Handling of "Critical Situations" regarding
hostile contacts or the appearance of unpredictable circumstances during
Routine Patrols and Tactical Capital Vessel Movements.

> Message:

Greetings, pilots

While on patrol in Minor, we picked up a series of transmissions in the system coming from a couple of drunk bounty hunters carrying a load of captured Order pilots.

We attempted to locate the individuals as they were threatening to jettison some of the captured pilots. We searched all the corners of Minor but didn't get a single blip on scanners.

Not long after I decided to head back to Isis, I received a transmission over private frequencies from one of the hunters. He claimed that we had 15 minutes to get to Omicron Gamma or they would start executing hostages.

We assembled a small fleet of vessels, namely [TOP]Gurney.Halleck, Tri-Edge, Wolf-Fang, Wizard, and the capital vessel OCV-Neith-II, and made our way to Gamma in search of these terrorists.

As soon as we arrived in Gamma we noticed the same sort of drunken bantering over the comms and spread out to cover all the exits. It seems we were a little too late in covering the jump holes as we got word they had already jumped to Theta and were en-route to Omicron 74. Gurney.Halleck suggested we split the team into two parties, one to follow them into 74 and the other would go directly to Omicron Kappa from Gamma.

It turns out the idea to split up was a good one since we caught up with them as they were jumping into Delta once again. I was a little ahead of the pilots in my group but was still trailing the hunters by a considerable amount.

After shaming the hunters into dealing with me, we made the agreement to a battle one vs. one where the winner takes all. It was a relatively close battle but I was able to retrieve the remaining two pilots from the wreckage of the hunter's Manta.

I would like to take this moment to thank the agents who were in the area of the battle for ensuring fair combat. I would also like to send my condolences to the families of the pilots that were not saved from this tragic incident. It's a wonder how supposedly lawful bounty hunters are able to execute hostages in cold-blood to make a point.

COMM ID: COL. CLARK GUNSON
Greetings,

Yesterday we had Bounty Hunters Guild invasion in Minor.. Not sure what was their goal. Keeping our numbers
low or something else, anyway their surprise attack failed. We had nice fleet gathered in Minor at that time.
They brought at least three destroyers supported with one of their bombers. Soon after first of their destroyer
blew up their reinforcement came, including battleship, two super heavy fighters called Mafic I think and one
more hunter bomber. There was unusually good cooperation within Order ranks and we managed to defend
Minor. We had Osiris, Geb and few gunboats and after Osiris got criticaly damaged new Osiris moved into fight
and covered escape of the first. Our smaller crafts including few bombers cleared out area of remaining
hunter crafts. Their last bomber couldn't survive jump from Minor to Delta.

We gave them fair chance to retreat but they choose to shoot at us and we fired back. Order was given not
to disrupt their cruise if they try to escape but after few of them used our good will as their tactic to gain
range order was canceled.

I am not sure what was their reason of attack but what ever it was they failed. Bounty hunters are back in
Omicrons after their long holidays it seems.

Colonel Gunson over and out.
