Patrol Report

Hail Overwatch.

I have observed the traffic in the Omega 3 system for several days now and I've noticed a fairly strong presence of the Bretonian Armed Forces in the region.
Particularly curious is the presence of a battleship so far removed from their frontlines.

So far the bulk of the Bretonian forces appear to be sticking around Freeport 1 though there have been several occasions of Bretonian snub vessels going beyond the station
and visiting Alands, generally in company of a BMM and or BMF vessel.

I have included several images of the guncams as an attachment to this report, including a brief scan of the battleships arsenal and equipment.
One of the scans also revealed one of the Bretonian vessels had a Corsair prisoner.

Additionally, with the approval of the High Command I have initiated further contact with the Corsair Empire, proposing colaboration against the common threat.
To further emphasize the danger of Bretonia I attached the scan of the Bretonian vessel with the Corsair prisoner to the transmission.

I have not yet received a response, but I will be certain to relay any valuable information the moment it becomes apparent.

Patrol Report

Hail Overwatch.

It is with heavy heart that I can confirm that Bretonia has made hostile moves on Aland Shipyard in the Omega 3 system.
During my patrol of the system I came across two BAF fighters, as my cloak was running low and the noise it was giving off seemed to tip them off to my presence I quickly went back to restock. Once I returned however, a full blown battle had broken out. IMG, ALG and the Corsairs were fighting against the Bretonian forces, now consisting of a battleship, gunboat, bomber and two VHF snub vessels.

Not intending to merely standby I decloaked and announced my intentions to aid the non-Bretonian vessels. The Bretonians didn't last too long, they had brought fairly big guns with their battleship but the local ALG fleet proved its match. Eventually all Bretonian vessels were eliminated with I believe one casualty on our side in the form of a Corsair. Considering how the corsair had valiantly fought against the Bretonians and that the fight was right next to Aland Shipyard, I like to imagine IMG picked up the lifepod and sent him on his way as a sign of gratitude.

After the fight was over I took the opportunity to discuss some matters with the vessels present, my presense in the system was revealed now anyway after all.
The IMG vessels confirmed that Bretonia had brought in a large group of vessels to the shipyard, and that they (IMG) opened fire shortly after the Bretonians brought in a battleship to the shipyard.

It seems the Bretonians are making a desperate play, setting their aims on more systems much like they did with Omega 49. What complete lack of tact and intelligence they're
displaying for assaulting even more factions while they're already so desperately losing a war is beyond me, but it is fact regardless.

As I flew away after the encounter I ran into a Bretonian destroyer, no doubt backup that arrived far too late. I announced its presence to the rest of the system, something that the Corsairs enjoyed immensely. We joined forces briefly, forcing the ship to dock at a battleship near planet Sprague. When I left the Corsairs and the destroyers captain were in a heated debate regarding the virtue of the Bretonian queen. Needless to say the Corsairs didn't have a very high opinion on her, though the Bretonian captain did reveal, in a systemwide announcement, that she was a lesbian and was sleeping with the Corsairs mother. Odd how quickly war can bring out the most unexpected behavior in people.

I have included several images of the guncams as an attachment to this report, as well as the audio logs picked up during the encounter.

I have not yet received a response from the Corsairs regarding my previously sent message, but the presence of Corsairs in the system reassures me they have seen it. Additionally, the Corsairs reassured me they'd contact their higher ups to inquire regarding its progress.

On a final unrelated note, I came across Dexter Hovis himself, unfortunately he arrived just mere moments too late to join in on the fight, but I'm sure a reknown racer like him siding against Bretonia is sure to inspire at least a few others to take up arms as well against the crown.

Patrol Report

Hail Overwatch.

Last night Aland Shipyard went to high alert; Bretonian forces were en route with the intent of capturing the station with extreme prejudice. Needless to say, I launched the Luxor and joined the defending fleet to stand by our IMG allies. The defending fleet consisted mostly of IMG, RHA and ALG vessels, ranging from capital ships to snub vessels. Our presence was appreciated and I soon took up position with the heavier capital ships; as I was piloting a gunboat it was deemed I would be of most use defending the capital vessels from bombers.

It didn't take long before the Bretonians arrived, honestly it took even less time before one was destroyed. This happened right before the battle actually even started and served as a good moral boost for the troops. What ensued soon after was a long drawnout fight, our defending fleet stood over twenty ships strong, the Bretonian attackers with roughly the same numbers.

While mostly in a defensive position, the Luxor played a pivitol role in taking down an enemy cruiser, gunboat and scattering enemy snub vessels for our own fighterwings, as well as keeping any snub vessel away from our capital vessels.

That said I am sorry to say that near the end of the fight the Luxor took critical damage; we were lucky the fighting happened right outside Aland Shipyard. Repairs are being made as we speak and the Luxor will be operational again before the end of the day. The damage unfortunately however did take us out of the battle.

It is worth mentioning the Olympia was present during the fight, it was one of the first ships to fall. No doubt the Crayterian defectors are licking their wounds and desperately trying to rebuild their ship as we speak.

Action report

Whilst being at Freeport 11 yesterday, I was contacted by a Zoner from the velvet wing about details on 2 infected ships. Should you come across the ship "Unmistakable" or a certain secondary LSF captain called Daniels, who is in command of several vessels, of which only the name of his LABC was reported, the LNS-Roosevelt. Keep a close eye on their activities. Should they be found conspiring with the Nomads, bring them in for questioning. Should they resist, blow them up and bring me their bodies, in which case they will face the firing squad.

Patrol Report

Hail Overwatch.

During my patrol in the Omega-3 system I came across the most unexpected of sights: An agent of the Legacy of Orrilian, A battlecruiser belonging to Auxensia and none other then Steiner himself casually chatting at Freeport 1. Unfortunately I had to pull back several times so as to not run out of cloaking batteries; facing a battlecruiser in my Nephytis seemed like an unwise plan. As such some chunks of the conversation are missing. I suggest contacting the Legacy of Orrilian to get their part of the intel gained.

During the conversation I noticed the Orrillian agent was far from flattering when talking about the Overwatch. No doubt this was to make the hostiles feel more comfortable talking and gain more intel, it would be far from professional to talk about brothers in arms in such a way after all.
Attached are several guncams of the encounter, as well as the recordings of the conversation as far as I managed to pick them up.

Patrol Report

Hail Overwatch.

My apologies for sending in another report so soon after the last, things have escalated quickly here in the system.
As I am required to act fast I will try to be as succinct as possible; Bretonia and IMG engaged in long standing peace negotiations under the
mediation of Auxesia. While the peace negotiations lasted extremely long, unfortunately no success was obtained and the two factions remain at war.
Additionally, an ALG vessel discussed how they were assisting the Order with a construction project in the Omicrons. While I was unware of any such project,
I figured it might be worth while including the logs of that discussion as well.

Due to these developments I request the Horus be stationed at Alands as soon as possible to prepare for the incoming hostilities.

Patrol Report

Hail Overwatch.

I come with grave news.
Aland Shipyard has fallen. The Olympia, through some act I can only describe as technological necromancy, has managed to jump the Bretonian fleet right in front of the station during an attack of Bretonia. The Bretonians were successful in luring away the stations defenders and the station was soon boarded by Bretonian marines. I managed to take down a few but it quickly became clear that they had hit too many locations of the station to hold the line.

Unwilling to let the Luxor become a Bretonian trophy, I quickly boarded the gunboat and launched to join the fight outside.
All in all we managed to take down a fair number of Bretonians, but the fight was clearly lost now with Aland in the crowns hands.

After the fight ended, I pulled back to Freeport 5 and met up with the Horus; it's strength would have no doubt made a difference had it been present, unfortunately
the journey had simply been too long for it to arrive on time.

What felt like several hours past before the command came to escort the ALG flagship to our own territory, a task the Horus was more then fit for.
We departed from Freeport 5 and were met up by ALG's Gamma Squadron before we set route to Corsair space.
The trip was uneventful, and we were fortunate enough to be met up with Inquisitor Valkyrie at the jump hole.
Once we arrived in Omicron Kappa the first trails of Core presence started to pick up, until in Delta we spotted several ships inbound.
Fortunately, several Order operatives of the secondary fleet were in the area and engaged the enemy, allowing the ALG flagship to continue moving on with its escort.

It soon became apparent that the operatives required assistance though, as such Inquisitor Valkyrie broke formation and went back to assist.

We arrived in Mu without further complications.

After a brief conversation with ALG I quickly moored the Horus and flew out in my Bastet fighter to meet up with the Order operatives still fighting in Delta.
When I arrived there was but one of our operatives remaining; Bullseye, and three Core snub fighters alongside a Core capital ship. That said, Bullseye lived
up to their name and reduced a Core vessel to ash before I even started my engagement; leaving the fight a two vs two.

During the fight another Core vessel showed up and prepared to engage us, much to my surprise, he was told to stand down by our opponents.
Shortly after, one of them exploded.
Later on, when an another Order secondary fleet operative showed up, I returned the favor by telling them to wait their turn for now.
Bullseye and I proceeded to turn the Core snub vessels to space dust before pulling back and returning home.

Just as I thought I'd be able to take a bit of a rest on the Thebes we received a message from the far Sigma's; our allies were assaulting a base in the Sigma 21 system and needed assistance against the inbound Rheinland fleet.

Still in my Bastet, I met up with Seeker and quickly moved out to provide assistance.
Though the trip took long, we arrived mere seconds before the Rheinlanders did, allowing us to assist our allies when it was needed most.

The Rheinland fleet was turned to dust.

In desperate need for some rest after a long day of enforcing Order interests, Seeker and I docked at Said.
I was lucky enough to find a pilot who had an active assignment to fly to Freeport 5 and was able to hitch a ride to the station while I slept.

The Bretonians might have captured Alands, but this is far from over.

Patrol Report

Hail Overwatch.

There were several more developments in the Omega-3 system that occured yesterday and today.
For the sake of preventing the reports from stacking on your desk I will include them all in this transmission.

Report 1: I spotted two Kusari Naval Forces ships near Alands together with a Bretonian Carrier. They seemed to claim they were en route back to Kusari when questioned by the Bretonian vessel. Unfortunately, I had to pull back after as my cloaking batteries started to get close to running out, but not before I made a few scans of the ships involved.

Report 2: I am happy to report that Vizier One arrived safely in the Omega-3 system. We met up in Cambridge and I briefed him on the developments in the system once we entered Omega 3. The additional Order reinforcement is greatly appreciated.

Report 3: By lack of response of The Brotherhood to our earlier message sent a month ago, I have taken the liberty of sending a new transmission informing them of the new turn of events in Alands and once more proposing we improve ties in combined strikes.

Report 4: During a patrol in the Omega-3 and Omega-7 systems today I ran into a Lane Hacker near Aland Shipyard. Considering our relative well ties with them I revealed my presence and struck up a conversation. He revealed that the Corsairs have an "Osiris" stationed in the New London system and that Galia is getting closer and closer to overwhelming the Bretonian fleet. In return, I revealed information regarding the closest Nomad activity I've seen in the area, Omega-7. Admitively this was far before the events at Aland, but it occured none the less. I also corrected him the ship in question was likely a Murmillo class and not an Osiris.

I have included the guncams for report 1 and 2, the transmission to the Corsair Empire for report 3 and the audio logs for report 4 to this transmission.

Patrol Report

Hail Overwatch.

During some R&R back home in the Omicrons I ran into the leader of Velvet wing, a defensive squadron operating from Freeport 11 as well as one of her wingmen.
The conversation was pleasant enough and the conversation soon turned into some more business related topics which are why I'm filing this report to you now.
Velvet Wings captain, Melissa Jones has expressed a great interest in working together with the Overwatch, requesting formal training for her and her troops.
In return they could mount more of the protection duties in Delta, which would free more of our troops to the other high risk systems while also avoiding wasting resources
on the Core while doing so.

Additionally, Melissa Jones appears to be one of the candidates to be stationed as Freeport 11's new administrator. She is hoping for the Overwatches political support for her bid.
In return, while she won't be able to provide public support that could endanger the neutral reputation of the station, she would be more then willing to provide whatever support she can that be kept off the record. From what I can tell this could be a good opportunity to make sure the Zoners in the region are more independant when it comes to defending themselves from the Nomads and Core, while also improving our ties with the station.

I have included the audio logs to this transmission for your review.

Captain Cieras Cross
117th Task Force: MAGUS

Overwatch,

The Cleopatra has arrived within the Omegas as per Colonel Hideyoshi's orders. Unfortunately, we did not come through undetected. Whilst leaving the vicinity of Freeport One after resupply, Bretonian Armed Forces arrived on scene. Their numbers were three - one bomber class vessel, a Challenger I believe, and one Templar class fighter supporting, of all things, a Liberty Siege Cruiser named Vindictive. Scans showed it had grade six armor upgrades, alongside cerberus turrets. Clearly it was equipped to get in a brawl if anything. As I was indisposed at the time, Agent Obsidian spoke in my stead. The Bretonians allowed us to leave the system without any gunfire - though their demands we never return were, at best, token - but one of our bombers, Rockhound, stuck close to them for a time.

It was then that Hessians descended upon them. It is no doubt that the fall of Aland and the constant imperialistic expansion of Bretonia, in regards to the Gallic advance, has struck a nerve with many factions who call the edge worlds their home - and who make it there, away from such people. The battle was relatively short, with the Hessians employing two cruisers - one coming in as backup for the other, which took a torpedo and had to evacuate due to unknown circumstances - the Bretonians were eventually routed to the man, the cruiser sustaining heavy damage itself. I wonder how much of Liberty's exports are warship repair materials instead of Liberty Ale by now.

Ahem.

The Cleopatra held at distance to observe. The Hessians had this in hand, and we believe that our intervention was unnecessary for the battle. We were proved right. We have moved deeper into the Omega-3 system and have the Tombstone array up and running following the withdrawl of the Vindictive.

Operation: Armageddon can proceed on schedule. Specialized laser-breaching warheads have been prepared and will be loaded once operation begins.

One final note: Pirates within the system appear neutral to our presence. It is most likely that Bretonia's annexation of Aland, and at this point it's clear intent to turn the entire system into a Bretonian territory, has begun to sow division and anger towards them for this. We should keep an eye out for pirates who may prove sympathetic to our cause.

I will upload Tombstone Array scans at set intervals until commencement of Operation: Armageddon.
