Target confirmation request

Commodore Storgen online.

Approximately an hour ago we received from the Royal Gallic forces a disturbing message about the target re-appearance since the operation in the Drake system - Battleship Embrun. Before taking a decision, I need visual confirmation of their words.
I order to send the recon squadron to the Languedoc system and take visual evidence of RNS Embrun. Beware of massive Gallic and Kusari presence there, so using cloaking devices is mandatory.

Good luck.

OCV Anhur to the Cairo and closest taskgroups.

We spotting high Core activity on the planet Saipan's orbit - they try to deploy an installation that can interfere our moving between Cairo and Omicron Zeta. We need a bomber squadron to resolve this problem until it grows too big and dangerous.

Rescue of the Liner Pluto

Good evening.

A number of Order agents and Zoners recently responded to a distress call in Omicron Zeta, the vessel in distress being the passenger liner Pluto. Once we formed up with the Phoenix ships, we made our way to the location of the Pluto and the cause of the distress. The Pluto had suffered damage and was surrounded by a swarm of Nomad forms and some Wild ships as well. While the combined force of Order and Phoenix ships fought off the enemy, a Phoenix repair ship assisted the crews of the Pluto in some pretty impressive repair work under the most stressful conditions. Not long before the hostile forces were neutralised, the Pluto was made operational enough to make it's way to Kadesh.

While escorting the Pluto, I was given an active Nomad Power Cell, apparently the now deceased Commander of the Pluto had found it in Omicron Kappa. There's no way to know for certain, but I imagine that such a piece of technology may have antagonised the Nomads into trying to retrieve the item, but from my experience, the Nomads have never needed much reason to try and kill humans. Anyway.. After taking possession of the power cell, I made my way straight to Damascus to to hand it over to the science teams.

Zeta patrol incident

Greetings.

Earlier today, I was on patrol in Omicron Zeta on one of recently instated dedicated system patrol craft; Zeta-2. Whilst on patrol near Planet Saipan, my ships sensors gave the tell tale warning tone of a possible cloak signature. The patrol leader, Zeta-1 confirmed this with his own equipment, so we held our position in orbit of Saipan. As ordered, I sent a request back to Taba to reinforce us with a cloak disruptor equipped ship. Before I received a reply, a very large Nomad vessel uncloaked in front of us. As Zeta squadron vessels are fighters, we were not equipped to handle capital ships, let alone a Dreadnought so we pinged the location back to nearby Cairo station and departed. Fortunately for us, the Nomad ship did not seem to be overly interested in us and did not pursue or fire upon us.

I'm sure that most of us who have patrolled Omicron Zeta before have encountered all sorts of either potential or active threats, but this is the closest that I have seen a Nomad to the Omicron Mu jump hole. I have no doubt that if a lone Nomad did enter Omicron Mu, it's life span would be measured in minutes, but I would still suggest caution to any agents about any longer range patrols they may go on.

Video footage from Zeta-1 attached.

Omicron Delta combat incident

Hello again.

At approximately 19:45 SMT, I responded to a combat alert message. I launched immediately and connected to Order|Psychic and a secondary fleet Osiris; OCV-Nil'pesetra. Once I reached their position, I was greeted by the sight of the Charente. Following Psychic's orders, I joined in the attack against the infected ship. Probably about 6 nova torpedoes later, a Nepthys approached us, Callsign "Blasphemy". I thought that maybe we were getting some help from a secondary fleet pilot, but Psychic was quick to point out that the ship was definitely not using standard equipment. If the alien weaponry wasn't a clear enough sign that the pilot was infected, the fact that he tried to defend the Charente was overtly clear. With the firepower of OCV-Nil'pesetra, a few dozen of my Nova torpedoes and Psychic stopping Blasphemy from spacing me, the Charente and Blasphemy were critically damaged and limped off, presumably to repair or.. regrow.

While the nature of the Charente was already known, this hostile Nepthys, 'Blasphemy' was new to me. I do not know if the pilot was one of ours or maybe the ship was captured, but it was clearly hostile. My first thought would be alien infection, but I'll let the actual classification be decided by the higher ups.

Attached weapon scans of 'Blasphemy' provided by codename Psychic, who was the ranking Primary Fleet officer during the incident.

AI building bases..?

Greetings, Overwatch. Robert Vansky is in touch.

So, after two months of wandering through Liberty space, looking for the infected or the Nomads themselves, I returned to Omicrons. Not for long, but a while, because military and police activity had increased in Liberty, and I needed to wait it out, to lay low. All right, let's get to the main topic of this report.

Today, I went on a patrol through the Omicron sector and found an interesting structure in orbit around the planet Moros and Secundus Outpost. Some people have built a base, which is in the protective perimeter of the Gammu AI base. The name of such a construction Secundus-Young-Gammu. Regarding reputation, to identify belonging to a special faction was not possible, but, according to the info map, the base refers to us with friendliness.

External attributes.
All outer layers and plating are intact and shields are at rest. There are no armed platforms as such, but there are defence turrets on the base itself. Of the modules, there is expanded cargo storage installed. Communication with the dispatcher has been established. Docking was allowed without much trouble.

Internal attributes.

The base is empty. Nothing of interest was found. Not yet fully functional. Most likely, it is being supplied and will be ready in a while.

That's all for now. This is the end of the report.

A bold Expedition!

Today we made an incursion to a Nomad world. Joined by operatives Order|Starfire and Order|Drake,Oliver that followed us on our bold mission.

We have uncovered what I assume must be a jump hub of some sort.

Unsurprisingly, we didn't have to wait long for trouble - the lifeforms immediately started waking up to our presence.

We made quick work of a large arriving warform

And then I could swear I could see someting... in the distance...Our sensors could not penetrate the bizzare nebula, and we had no way of knowing what might hide inside as Operative Starfire ordered us to rush to Zeta - yet another warform was threatening humanity. We might never solve the mystery of what lied behind the "horizon".

Our vessel was damaged from the Incursion, and only due to the help of Starfire and Drake,Olive we managed to disable the hostile and make it back to Cairo in one piece.

Nomad collaborators in Kusari

Hail honorable Overwatch, Black Squadron leader, Derek Carver on line.

Yesterday, about 19:00 UTC I had a regular patrol from Battleship Atum to the Shikoku system with information Kusari Naval forces increased their presence there. Our squadron has been split into four units to observe Keiun and Shiun clouds more carefully and I received a message from Black Four he encountered an absolutely unusual Golden Chrysanthemum not far from the Galileo Jump Hole. She was escorting another Chrysanthemum who carried several containers with Kemwer Munitions to one of their installations in the Shikoku.
His report was brief but informative for us - this is the vessel equipped with semi-organic gunboat weaponry which is usually used by known Scorpion drones and its owner acts unusually.
Right after our arrival at the Atum, we received a message from Chrysanthemum who was escorted by a potential infectee or contributor. I forward her message to you and provide evidence in the attached documents.

Target signature: CH-Jestak|Aoi
Individual name or callsign: "Krumai"

Godspeed.

Operation "Spear of Anubis"

Greetings esteemed agents,

I desire to use this occasion to verify our agents have victoriously accomplished the Operation "Spear of Anubis", that the High Command had previously declared. Before I explain how we've completed the operation, I desire to clarify how I had organised heavy units under my direct order, our fleets' standing, and, ultimately, the elimination the Nomad installation. It's been a while since I reported to this channel.

Due to OCV Aleppo's employment outside the Omicrons, where it's performing reconnaissance assignments against our hostiles; therefore, I decided to dispatch OCV Palmyra from the Omicron Minor to complete the "Spear of Anubis". Before I ordered the Palmyra to position itself in Cairo's vicinity, I had arranged special maintenance at the Fort Carthage and restore its internal systems responsible for the high-tech components' crucial functions. The Battleship took minor damage due to space radiation and consumed most of its resources while being stationed in the Omicron Minor. Once Cmdre Storgen had announced the operation, the Palmyra (being wholly strengthened) immediately set its course towards Zeta. Its docking bays reached full capacity; thus, I was compelled to park my fighter craft at the Cairo Station.

Early-stage of the operation was tough to annihilate any Nomad entities appropriately, due to low hostile activity. Nonetheless, it didn't stop me any of our agents from liquidating any danger. Meanwhile, Palmyra's systems occupied me fair too much to actively operate in Omicron Zeta. Once we had cleared hostile activity in the system, we initiated a vigorous attack towards the Omicron Major with our fighter craft. Due to slow maintenance for my primary fighter, I mostly used the Bastet in the assault. As soon as we could switch to different ships, I did - to my Nephthys. After intensely entering into the Nomad grounds, our agents discovered a Nomad installation, being the main danger at the time. The attack was seemingly successful with minor casualties. Squids unquestionably weren't sufficiently prepared to counter our unexpected onslaught. The element of surprise slightly worked.

Final-stage mostly included heavy units, which was the ideal time to order the Palmyra to set course towards the Zeta with its fleet. Allied fleet was reasonably powerful, comprising various capital assets. The reinforcement played a significant function in the attack, whereas the high-tech systems worked as intended to combat the Nomad menace. I ensured the Damascus Sation's Cloak Disruptor worked accordingly, due to squid's habits to attack silently with ambushes. Thus, experienced captains prepared our battlegroups for the worst. The effort invested in ensuring Palmyra's functioning on the battlefield wasn't of no value. Despite the fact I might not be qualified to absolutely pilot heavy assets, I know how battlegrounds work, and which technique to take advantage of.

Upon entrance into the Omicron Major system, everything appeared to be silent. However, agents didn't fall for the illogical silence - ready for worst. It was ambitious to orientate in the system due to various radio interferences in the compact nebula while being on our path towards the mapped unknown installation. Our battlegroups weren't surprised by the Nomad attempts of ambush. Our primary objective was to demolish the structure; thus, cease the nomad activity in the area. The number of casualties wasn't as high as expected; nonetheless, we believe the Nomads suffered more losses. After an intense battle, our battlegroups completely obliterated the structure. While most of the fleet immediately abandoned the area, Palmyra ensured to rescue any remaining agents from the Nomads, and leave none behind. We succeeded to protect remaining heavy assets and snub craft, despite the fact their ships were in critical conditions. My flagship in the battle survived with moderate damage - demanding pressing upkeep at the Fort Carthage.

Reconnaissance Report

Greetings esteemed agents,

I have an intriguing report to debate and allocate with our agents. Before proceeding further, I believe it's relevant to express that I didn't take part in the event I attached with the transmission. As the High Command may know, I have dispatched the Aleppo months ago to conduct reconnaissance missions, regardless of the location. It's well-armoured for any scenario, possessing the Order's high-technology for military and recon purposes. Its primary objective is to thoroughly investigate alien activity within the Sirius, alongside hostile actions that have a particular question regarding the Order. Now, the Colonel rank has opened me numerous possibilities to review matters I've always strived to scrutinise. Aleppo is likely one of my essential ships that might assist us with the issues mentioned earlier. Every so often, I receive 'Internal-Reports' from warships under my command that so clarify subjects of our interests, which seems to be the contemporary case. On the 25th of February 828 A.S. (today), while I was at the Cairo, O.C.V. Aleppo has transmitted me what appears to be a top priority internal reconnaissance report. The question is regarding heavy Nomad activity in the Independent Worlds - Cortez & Bretonia (we assume). The record itself is fairly detailed - therefore, It's unnecessary to describe it myself.

O.C.V. Aleppo Internal-Report Log #R441b Wrote:O.C.V. Aleppo Internal-Report Log #R441b

Accurate Location of the Event: Cortez, Sector Esna 3/4
Type of the Operation: Reconnaissance
Priority: High

Title: Nomad Activity in Cortez - Several Parties involved

Aleppo's second-in-command squad is currently addressing the most recent incident - transpired in Cortez, an Independent World that borders Bretonia and Liberty. The Battleship has been inspecting the border worlds for suspicious activity for quite some time now. The secondary objective is to remain well-hidden from the eyes of any unwanted organisations and individuals, making it challenging to unveil unacceptable activities. As a result of having a highly qualified crew capable of executing the most challenging assignments, we've been able to allocate a first successful duty - unveiling dense alien activity in Cortez. To our surprise, we succeeded to identify unusual and relatively high Nomad activity. We made sure nobody could recognise our operation in case of an unwanted impact on diplomacy, revealing our attendance. Upon closer inspection of Cortez, our squadron was lucky enough to identify the earlier mentioned parties' activity in sector Esna 3/4. The highly advanced surveillance module OSD "ISIS" CDE-4 allowed us to compose a comprehensive report concerning the incident.

Upon arriving at the scene, we firstly identified a Xeno group composed of Bombers and Fighters, facing several heavy Nomad and potentially infested warforms. It certainly was of our interest to take action in the incident by assaulting hostiles. However, such a decision wasn't brilliant due to the influence of various groups such as the Insurgency and Auxesia, which we believed would support the Nomads (knowing for bold shreds of evidence that have indicated sympathetic relations between aliens and Auxesians). Mentioned groups brought sufficient amounts of heavy assets to take on the Nomads. Surprise occupied the majority of our mindsets, as we've seen the 'Nomad sympathisers' assaulting their 'companions.' The enigma has left us stranded for a reason, as there are no potentials of exiting such infestation wordlessly, notably without our knowledge. Hence, we do not trust what we've seen, knowing their enthusiasm to support the alien kind. It's worth noting that the known Nomad sympathisers possessed 'Hessian' technology. However, as the battle was happening in the background with Insurgency, Xenos and Auxesia, suddenly, a large Nomad warform uncloaked in surprise, immediately causing damage. Our crew noticed a seemingly infested repair ship supporting the alien cause as the Aux. was engaging it.

As the fight progressed, it was evident that the Nomads were suffering losses, as the organisations kept on coming in numbers. Aleppo didn't have the opportunity to witness the conflict's last bits due to the necessity to recharge its batteries. According to the transmission logs we've received from the local and system-wide comms, some aliens allegedly escaped to Bretonia. Our squad didn't fancy attempting to follow the aliens, as they possessed the technology to evade any pursuits. Therefore, we left the area to initiate a hyperspace breach towards Omicron Mu to receive necessary supplies for future reconnaissance assignments. It's imperative to transmit the transmission to Colonel Eliza Fischer immediately and congregate an essential quantity of supplies. Besides gathering the supplies, Aleppo must pass thorough examinations of the equipment for minor failures in components. Our crew believes it's worth to conduct further recon assignments in the independent worlds and examine the connectivity between the Nomads and our adversaries. We are awaiting supplementary guidance from our honourable Colonel. Aleppo is signing out.

O.C.V. Aleppo
02/25/828 A.S.

As per their request, I believe it's reasonable to order further inquiries of the independent worlds while certainly having other relevant areas under focus. We haven't yet understood what's attracting the Nomads to Cortez, besides it perhaps being another type of aggressiveness. As you've seen, Aleppo hasn't revealed its cover for safety reasons to continue recon missions. Not to forget, it's still somewhat seeking for the signs of Aoi Kunieda, as Storgen said, is a potential infiltrator. The suspect might be present in the Inverness, knowing from the transmissions logs I've transferred between the subject in O-Kappa.

As I have nothing to add to the incident, I sent specific commands to Aleppo to pass immediate examinations of its equipment at Fort Carthage - hence, supply itself with the necessary accessories. While I am awaiting to manage a battlegroup, I'd like to use the free time to address my capital ships adequately. As for the Palmyra, it'll resume its regular duties to safeguard the Order from any hostilities. For the time being, it'd be useful to dispatch several unites to the independent worlds for the earlier mentioned reasons. Nomad influence is sometimes unpredictable. Thus we can expect anything, even a heavily reinforced alien presence.
