Buenos días

Members of the Council. For those who do not know who I am... I am Alexander Cordoba, Elder of Apostatas and head of the Cordoba familia. Maybe some of you have heard of me as I have flown side by side with Luciano Vasquez. It has taken us some time for us to reach out directly to the Council and I do apologize for that. The Council has helped a lot with Apostatas fleet, resources and have turned a blind eye to some of our mistakes and we do appreciate the support.

The reason why I am contacting the Council is because of matters that is vital to our fight against the communists of the Coalition.
Apostatas has recently moved it's base of operations to Antikythera Shipyard. Reasons for this is that we believe it makes it easier to manage our fleet moving to and from Bretonian space and helping maintain two vital fronts of the Empire.
Since moving onto the base found that it is rather unique in design and has a lot of potential. We also discovered that it is poorly manned and the shipwright is barely producing ships.

So the council of Apostatas has discussed this matter and we would formally request that administration of this base along with building rights be handed over to us. With this request we will always provide open ledgers to the CoE of what is happening on the base along with full access to any ship of the Empire. We will then fully man the station and become the frontline between SCRA and the Empire. This also puts our zone of interests in an area that The Brortherhood and Custodi do not need worry about and thus lifting the strain of spreading our naval forces around multiple fronts. Apostatas will also be responsible for the resources in all production and service of the shipwright as well as maintaining the base. I believe that this would lift the strain from our hermanos.

As soon as this matter is settled we can move along and start scouting missions acquiring vital information about our enemy.
We will await your response with high hopes.

Gracias

Saludos Alexander,

It is good to hear from you again, I remember our last smuggling run together went quite well. But, to the matter at hand. The Council of Elders is glad to hear the Apostata's will continue to have forces spread throughout the Omega's and Bretonia, as we focus our attentions elsewhere. And our men on Antikythera would be more than happy to welcome any assistance in securing the station and bringing its full production capacity to bear, for the good of the Empire. I'm sure they will be able to inform you of what supplies are most needed, and leave their... acquisition to you and your forces, and that with your help running the station, it will become a key part of our plans for the Omegas and beyond.

The Coalition is a small but strong foe, and partnered with the Red Hessians can spew numbers of enemies that could threaten to overwhlem our defenses, but the Council is confident that you will be able to secure the station, and the system, from any further advances. And on a final note, there is the remains of the station that was hidden in the minefield. The Council feels it would be wise to inspect the.... unfortunate ruins for any last traces of research or intel that could be used to improve the Empire, or against our enemies.

Respetuosamente,

L. Vasquez

I am indeed very happy to hear from you as well amigo. Our paths seem to cross quite frequently as it seems..

The council of Apostatas and myself want to thank you and the Council of Elders for granting us this responsibility. Our transport division is already running at maximum capacity in transporting resources to and from our homeland and Antikythera. Hopefully we will soon have more transport vessels bringing in much needed supplies to Antikythera. Apostatas have been hard at work securing more trade partners. Though some of them might be a bit of... delayed due to reasons I can't explain right now. Our other partners will soon be seen filling Corsair space with supplies.

I do hope that the Council will see to it that they are protected on the other side of our Empire where the Apostatas fleet is unable to go at this point in time. Our fleet is already tied up at our battlefronts and this is why we need this Shipyard to run at it's maximum capacity.
Our Flagship along with our Cruiser ApS|CNS-Lanza has been posted at Antikythera to reinforce our defenses. Beyond this we cannot spare any other capitol ship at this point. Our fighter and bomber wings have of course been split to reinforce Antikythera as well...But we are unable to deploy any Gunboats as they are sorely needed on the Bretonian front. I do hope the Council sees this as sufficient investment from Apostatas in securing the Shipyard. We will also soon be looking to send some of soldiers for advance training, where they will be stationed on Antikythera. Anything more would come with time as the Council knows resources and ships are at this point a bit hard to come by.

Now...Antikythera shows quite interesting technology in construction and base design. We found it it be something... that we might consider to be an advancement compared to our Empires current bases and shipyards. I would suggest that we look into using this type of design in future constructions...

As for the base in the mine field..I will dispatch scouts very soon. I will give a full debrief of the scouts report to the Council once I have it on my desk. I am not sure what the Council hopes us to find.. but we will give it our best attempt.

I have the scouting report that you have requested.
I personally joined the scouting party in the hopes to find what the Council seeked. Though I am unsure what you and the council had hoped us to find as there was nothing too interesting. However something did catch my interest.. a Jumphole that could possibly be where the commies are coming from. This jumphole is unprotected in Cayman and we could possibly use this to our advantage... But I leave that to yourself and the council to see to it as they want. As for the destroyed station..There was not much to be found. It's mostly floating scrap with scattered mines around it. I hope the attached report will satisfy what you had hoped for.

Saludos Alexander,

You've done well, hermano. This information will most definitely be useful to our future plans in the deep Omega's. While we could all see that the Coalition had taken Shadowhaven- the most prominent base within the system, where exactly they came from will determine how we deploy our forces once Shadownhaven is ours- or a ruined wreck, as unfortunately happened to Kara, and whatever secrets it held. I think it is safe to assume that what state the ceasefire was in before, has now ended. It would not be surprising if they came from Omega-47, due to the strong Hessian presence there, that our hermano's here on Casablanca struggle against daily. If you could see to running a few patrols through to here on occasion, that could do well for our efforts driving them out, as the more direct runs from Leon are often intercepted on the final stretch, but Cayman could be a chance to get them through, given you can get past the Coalition easier than the Reapers.

Gracias Hermano.
Our efforts in Cayman has however not gone unnoticed. We have seen increased patrols from SCRA and with the Civilian group SCEC having some sort of research that they are performing near Shadowhaven, they too are constantly involved in military clashes. We have had more encounters with the commies then we initially expected. This led to some patrols being completely overwhelmed in the commies space. We have however increased our aggression and attack sizes in Cayman to match any movement that the commies are trying to make. So far they were barely able to mobilize before would strike them. I would not underestimate their resolve in defending Shadowhaven. But Apostatas forces are learning the tactics that the commies are using and we are becoming more adapt with their defenses.

Gaining the station would be vital to controlling Cayman, as rebuilding one would simply take too long and resources that could be better spend elsewhere. Gaining Cayman would majorly help in unifying the defensive lines. I suspect that with a combined strike from TBH, ApS and Custodi we would be able to take the station. It will however not be easy and I estimate that we would need a subbstantial amount time to prepare properly. However with a unified front in O-47 we would be able to greatly relieve the pressure from TBH forces and maybe even push the Hessian forces back. In efforts to assist TBH in O-47 we will send patrols as you suggested.

I am glad that you see the value in gaining dominance in Cayman. Apostatas will continue to build the strength of the Empire in Cayman and push the commies back. It will also not be long until we have some space in Antikythera where we would be able to at least construct snub craft size ships. This would increase the Apostatas fleet size in Cayman.

In short. Cayman will be taken in due time. Or we shall die trying.

Gracias

It is with a heavy heart that I write this hermano.

A top secret message has just reach us here in Cayman.

One of our forward operatives has discovered a devastating plot. A plot that was kept from us through treachery and betrayal. One of our allies has gone too far...Our operative was out scouting in Magellan, when a Bretonian Gunboat and Liberty Navy snub fighter attacked him. Lucky for him the Royal Navy was there and protected him from their assault. One of the Gaian Guards showed up and well see for yourself....
