Occupants of the planetoid identified as 'The Moon',

My name is Sentinel Pike. I'm currently the lead investigator responsible for ascertaining the status of the recently discovered system adjacent to Shikoku within Kusari.

Part of my job is investigating local groups for potential dangers in terms of technology usage, and the presence of hazardous materials. As your... Well, what can only be described as a planetoid fortress is the first object we've located in our investigation, we're reaching out to find out exactly what's going on here. I'm hoping whomever you might be will be able to give me your side of the story as you see it.

As it sits now, the Kusari Government is laying claim to the area. Officially due to protocol, we're required to acknowledge that claim to prevent certain issues from arising when dealing with the locals. Unofficially, we couldn't possibly care less who owns the system. It could be you, it could be them, it could be the other people.

The sooner this investigation is out of the way, the sooner my superiors can decide if we need to deploy here or not. Obviously given the nature of your facility, you're not fond of guests. So unless you've got something to hide or you actually want to see more of a military presence around, please don't waste my time.

Answer to Pike

I struggle to see the importance of answering your questions after you blatantly admit you don't care who claims the system. Our groups have crossed paths in the past, and even cooperated.

Regardless, the Kusari forces will not take our system from us, nor will anyone else. Should you truly wish to know the history of the system, this can be requested without veiled threats.

Lady Silencer,

I am Keeper Leviathan of the Covenant. You'll have to forgive Sentinel Pike, as he has his own methods of operating. I prefer to approach with at least a modicum of civility when interacting with locals in unvisited areas.

This matter was personally brought to my attention following a skirmish that occurred today between your forces and the Kusari Government. It's not often a standard investigation requires my personal involvement, but I see now why he felt it was so important. It seems that for whatever reason, you've entered a conflict with the locals of Shikoku, and are in pursuit of a biodome from the other occupants of your system. Self-sustainability is certainly worth the effort I believe, but as our agent inquired - is it worth it at the expense of your neighbors?

Whatever the answer may be, it's more a question of morality. The reward outweighs the risk or vice versa. It should come down to numbers rather than emotions. Frankly, I'm more interested in something you happen to be in possession of. Something I've been in pursuit of recently, and following a long-cold trail that has only brought me to ancient scars and forgotten fights in far away places. I'm curious as to how it fell into your hands.

Besides my personal interest, The Inner Phalanx is equally interested. It seems based on your dealings with our Zeta Section, you've proven to be able to provide valuable data and information, and your intentions seem somewhat clear, albeit self-focused. This poses the question of if you want some heavier assistance in defending your home. Normally, we'd beat around the bush and mask our intentions, but it's fairly clear neither of us need or want that right now.

I await your response.

Answer to Leviathan

There are two reasons I'm humoring your transmission with a response now. The first is that you helped supply an item that is critical to our plans. The second is that you've offered assistance, even if it is only to study something you want more closely. Lets be honest. I don't care about your morals so long as you uphold your side of the deal with us. I'm sure I'm not the only one with such sentiments.

You want to know how we acquired the Annihilator? The Warlord has funneled a massive amount of money into replicating a legendary ship that once terrorized space. You've seen our technology, and the sheer power of Ventrin's flagship. I don't think I can impress the lengths he went to to replicate it for himself. We're still searching for the original, but thus far it has evaded us. In the time being, our attention has turned to the hidden vaults, and from which we have built our technology upon.

You've offered help, and I won't turn it down. However, access to the system is still prevented by the unstable jumphole. Unless you've developed point drives like that which Ventrin hoards for his upper echelon, it is almost impossible to enter it.

Maybe I should've been more clear.

I don't want to study it. I want it.

I've been looking for the original and rumored copycat for quite some time. I've interviewed survivors, investigated ancient hideouts, and inquired with people who have seen it or even interacted with it for an extended period of time. Imagine my surprise when one shows up in your hands.

Indeed, the instability of the jumphole makes access much more difficult, but I could deploy a jump-capable carrier to ferry a large supply of our forces in, while sending an advance force to secure the access point in Shikoku. I have had my operatives in the field studying the Naval Forces, learning their strengths, assessing their weaknesses, seeing what they can deploy, and going so far as to identify emotional links to expose in the daily lives of the present forces. It may not seem easy to emotionally gauge the Kusarians, but not everyone is immune to emotions, and those connections can quickly become a liability if exposed correctly. This would allow our pilots to emphasize on psychological warfare by removing certain valued members from the field, as their emotional counterparts would then come at you recklessly, and that's when you capitalize on their moment of weakness.

I have an advance force already waiting for my command. Their composition and armament has been modified for exactly what needs to be done. It will be quick and it will be efficient.

But that all depends on you. Your 'Warlord'. As well armed and outfitted as you may be, you're not the first we've attempted contact with. A total communications breakdown would be... unfortunate. I want that ship. I want its records and all data of its creation. The price for my help is a hefty one, but a man in my position doesn't leave things to chance. I am willing to deploy far greater assets to get what I'm after.

I'm very persistent.

Answer to Leviathan

Be very careful choosing your next words Leviathan. As I see it, we have a ship you want, and the means to either destroy any who approach it or make it vanish without a trace. In addition, access to the system is on a time frame. Thinly veiled threats may work on the normal people you work with, but are nothing more than a waste of time with us.

You want the Warlords flagship? I can't even begin to quantify just what that will cost you. Further, the only person who could supply you with what you want is the Warlord himself. No one else has access to what you're looking for. If you are going to act for us or against us, make your choice. The results will determine what happens next.

Lady Silencer,

My words sound exactly how I intend for them to sound. I do not beat around the bush. I am not here to jump through hoops. I am in the business of obtaining results, and those results will be one of many paths following any additional variables fall into the picture.

So here is my offer.

Your Warlord turns over the ship. In exchange, I turn over enough NEMP warheads to blow everything the Naval Forces have in your system to bits. Take out the Battleship, cut off their reinforcements - do whatever you want. I will even offer to deploy them for you. At the end of the day, you get extremely dangerous nukes to blow up whoever, even us if you really wanted to.

As long as that ship is out of the picture and added to my collection, I'll be satisfied. I don't care about what happens from then on.

IF however you decide that this extremely generous offer of nuclear ordinance in exchange for a replica of the real deal is not worth your time, then I hope you have a backup plan because I will probably just blow everything up instead and pick through the scraps.
