Arbiters.
We have a situation that impacts us both.
The Legion is in the process of extorting a family of Junker homesteaders by the name of Reys operating in orbit of planet Chisos. The Legion is essentially forcing the Reys family to cease all trade with parties local to the region in exchange for "protection". This is a classic blackmail operation and against the principles of both the Junkers and the Unioners.
With both the Junker and the Unioner way of life under peril after recent tragedies, I propose we do our utmost to liberate the Reys family from their blocade. Whatever heavy assets the Junkers possess - wrecker gunboats and the like, would be most useful to augment Unioner fighter and cruiser wings. We are going to take the fight to them.
The Legion will learn the blood cost of screwing with the Junker way of life.

Howdy there!
My name's Sandra Carter and I'm a relatively new face amongst the Congress. I couldn't help but notice that this message was aimed at most've us, but I reckon yer lookin' for an answer from one've our more senior Congressman.
I've gone ahead an' pinged this message so that someone who's better positioned to make a call on this situation'll see it.
Speakin' on a personal level, I've had right cordial dealin's with the Legion in the past, although that was durin' my time as a contracted shipper for Universal Shippin'. I hate 'ta hear that the folks I've thought were right decent folk'r causin' a bit've trouble for now-fellow Junker folk, though. All that said, I ain't in much've a spot to make a judgment call on this situation.
Anyways, I'll go ahead'n bring this up with the Arbiters an' we'll get back to 'ya, Mr. Jansen!
