Broadband Transmission - Liberty and Surrounding Space - Xeno Alliance - 03-01-2018

**Transmission BEGIN

"We're back, boys. An' surprise surprise, not much has changed."

**The logo on the screen flickers to a video feed showing an impoverished urban center. Emaciated populace look at you with sad eyes, and Sarah McLachlan should probably be playing in the background. The feed cuts to another location, seemingly a marketplace of a nefarious sort. Cardamine, weapons occupying makeshift stalls and people in chains.**

"That, is OUR Pittsburgh."

"You might be asking yourself right about now where the police are. Well, that's a simple one. They're doing what they do best."

**The feed again cuts to another location, this one obviously a richer, more well off area. Four uniformed LPI officers surround an unarmed man with a cardboard sign, begging for alms. They beat him with nightsticks and drag him off camera.**

"The LPI is not here for you, unless you have the money to fund their corrupt profiteering police force. As for us? We don't care how much or how little money you have, our soup kitchens are open to all in need."

"And if, like me, you're a working man fallen on tough times that wants to ensure a future for the next generation, we can help with that. The LPI is a corrupt force, but they are not the cause of this problem. The problem is our corporations becoming reliant on help from foreign Houses that don't know what it means to be a Libertonian. They work for less and they stain the reputation of upstanding corporations built BY Libertonians FOR Libertonians. We say, NO MORE!"

**Music begins to play as the feed cuts to 6 clearly refurbished ships flying in formation toward a trade convoy of two Samura transports and two escorts exiting a jumpgate. As they close, the formation splits to a pincer. All six ships fire an opening salvo of munitions, taking out an escort by surprise almost instantly. Formation is broken as the six ships enter evasive maneuvers. The three ships not being fired upon focus down the remaining escort. Recognizing the loss, the transports attempt to flee but it is too late. Both join their escorts.**

**The feed skips to a rearview of an arriving LPI patrol being left in the dust as the ships escape into an asteroid field. The Serpentis Wing logo plasters the screen as it fades to black.**
