A tour through Juneau - Ikarus_Hagen - 03-19-2018 Bay 2, Juneau Shipyard, Alaska System It was a messy day Taylor chose to show the R&D section to his newest Operative. He slowly walked through the crowds towards his ship, watching the crew unloading countless transports full with ammo, weapons, ship parts and food.
As he got closer to his ship he noticed Sparks sitting there, checking the camera. Sparks was a good friend of him. As Taylor arrived, he sat down next to Sparks and they waited for the new Operative. Well, let's wait for her. Sparks nodded and they watched the scene. RE: A tour through Juneau - Frostpfote - 03-19-2018 Bay 2, Juneau Shipyard, Alaska System After some minutes, the hangar doors suddenly open and a Grizzly class ship proceeds to the mooring fixture. Once the ship landed, the new operative Rachel Mikai, codename Ash, comes closer to the already waiting scientists. "Greetings." , she said while looking at the two. "I hope I am not too late." RE: A tour through Juneau - Ikarus_Hagen - 03-19-2018 Juneau Shipyard, Alaska System When they saw the Grizzly entering the bay they stood up and watched it. Soon Rachel arrived at their spot.
Nope, just in time. I think noone will come anymore, Roland, turn that cam on. Sparks nodded.Sure. You will get a trip around the R&D labs and rooms on this shipyard. Right now there is a division constructing our new lab close to us, so for now we will stay here. First of all, I'm your boss and colleague. Within secured atmosphere, like this station, we can call us by our names. I prefer the forname, so, I'm Ethan, this is Rachel and this is Roland. Hey. We are now in Bay 2-0, one of our smaller bays. Big enough to work on transports, but most certainly there will be fightercraft in here. Let's go. They went through some floors and arrived at another bay. It was big enough that an "Atlantis" could fit in here easily. This is Bay 2-2. Our big place. We only got one, so we have to be careful with this. Right below Bay 2-0 is Bay 2-1. It can hold up to one "Interdictor". Nothing special for now. Now let's go on. Some floors later they arrived at another bay, holding a lot of freighters which are currently getting loaded. Here you can see our Energy systems and Weapon systems labs. Well, not very functionable, but they are there. Let's move on to the next labs. A lot of people carrying boxes came from the floors. They arrived at a room filled with computers, still moving Taylor started to talk again. Our server room. It will stay here. There is our briefing room as well as my office. Will stay here, too. Your offices will be in the new lab. The group went into Taylors office, Roland was sitting down very quickly as well as Taylor behind his large desk. Sit down, Rachel. I drowned you in words the last 30 minutes, do you got any questions about the rooms of the R&D? RE: A tour through Juneau - Frostpfote - 03-20-2018 Juneau Shipyard, Alaska System As she sat down, her eyes were still shining from all the rooms and equipment she saw during the tour. Right now, I only need to know where our current project is located,so I can have a look at it, if you dont mind. She looks around, admiring all the furnishings in the office. I`d really like to begin working on it asap. RE: A tour through Juneau - Ikarus_Hagen - 03-20-2018 Taylor's office Juneau Shipyard, Alaska System He was surprised.
Very ambitiously. There are still some points I have to say before I release you on the work. First: Behavior. Especially outside our stations. Be friendly, never say your name when you are flying the R&D vessel. Never say our names aswell. Never talk open about your work, even with me. Second: The work. Check our own message board to get new missions. You can apply for them or you get assigned to one. The application is like: "I want to do mission X." Third: The Division. We are loyal to Liberty, the Navy, the 5th and especially the R&D. Always be respectful to other Operatives. If one of us gets lost, we all will search for him before contacting the SAR. He looked at her. It was clear that even he couldn't wait to start working, but the disappointment in his face left questions open. I would start with some easy stuff, but we are currently moving, so we have no labs right now... I know something! Read Operation Destroyer-I and get the OSC-Ferry, we will start with testing super-heavy fighters on duty. Naming is R&D-Destroyer-I-1. Do you have any questions? RE: A tour through Juneau - Frostpfote - 03-20-2018 Taylor's office, Juneau Shipyard, Alaska System She thought about said things for a couple of seconds. Hmh, if you don't mind I would like to see where I will be living until the labs are finished. I had a pretty long day organizing everything to move to Juneau with the things I will need here. So once I slept for a couple of hours, I will help the team with the lap. But right now, all my mind can think about is getting some rest. She looked at him, trying to read his rather disappointed mimics. Thanks both of you for the tour. It is always hard to be the new one, so I really appreciate your help. RE: A tour through Juneau - Ikarus_Hagen - 03-20-2018 Taylor's office Juneau Shipyard, Alaska System Taylor smiled as Rachel asked.
Well, in the first place you will stay at your former quarters, even when we moved, it will be close enough that you can keep living here. There will be some beds in the new facility, but, yeah, you stay here. Taylor stood up and walked to the door. While looking into the floor he began to talk. We should go to work now. Roland, did you record everything? Yep. Good. Now go to work. I will visit the construction site. Your mission is clear, Rachel. Now, get some rest, the Destroyers can wait that long. If you have questions, don't be scared to ask. Taylor turned to Rachel, smiled and walked down the corridor. |
