The Junkers are an integral part of the Maltese economy, just as Malta itself is an integral part of yours. There was once a time, not long ago that our peoples worked together on a handful of projects and innumerable other efforts, large and small- though to many under my command, it was under a different banner.

The Crimson Cross fractured and fell apart two years ago, but the working families and individuals behind it haven't up and vanished into obscurity as some would wish of us. Many of us have reorganized and regrouped, we have thrown off the farce that was the Cross' old ways and have come together as a united body of Famiglie: The Amalfi Union.

Amalfi's full status has yet to be realized; its coffers growing slowly while ship crews stand idly, pilots grow restless, and engineering teams sit quietly with little in the way of work coming their way. The Directorate's forces, the whole of Amalfi, and Malta itself will have need of the ingenuity and reliability of the Junkers in the coming time.

We send this missive not simply to formally rekindle a friendship of the past, but also to inquire: can Amalfi and its people rely on you to do what it is you do best in the coming months?
