Premise:

DWR, a revolutionary group in Rheinland, has called upon their allies to help them steal a gunboat at Alster Shipyard ready to be de-commisioned from its service in the war with Liberty. While this taskforce has slipped under the noses of the local law enforcement, and has subdued corporate security, there is one force they failed to account for: The Unioners.

A showdown will commence between the task force and Unioner interceptors at Alster Shipyard. Only one side shall prevail, this Friday night!

Regulations:

1. Standard PvP rules apply.
If you're killed, you're out. No returning to the battle again.
2. No running away from the active battlezone.
Once you leave the fight you're forbidden from rejoining. That includes resupplying.
3. Almost all loadouts allowed.
See #8 for restrictions.
4. No running into the asteroid field or sundiving.
Events are made to be as fair as possible so do not leave the battlezone to hug asteroids or draw the fight into the sun intentionally.
5. Register to participate.
Non registered ships will be asked to leave. Registering helps us keep the fight fair and fun for everyone.
6. No NEMPs.
Yeah.
7. No hugging the Shipyard.
Alster serves as a landmark, not a shield. Please make this fun for everyone.
8. No troll loadouts.
No Dual Novas, and stuff like that.

Looking good and glad this came together after our talk, Cyberbyte. Was actually about to post a near-identical event.


Can I have details as to the engagement rights of the gunboat? We might bring a special (non-combatant) vessel of our own to add event flavour (if we can get the numbers). Would be an AWACs Corvo that will be loaded with credit cards.

I thought it would be Bundies/UN only as Hessians are disproportionately better than Unioners and fighting Odins is awful, but it's all good.

Not enough active Bundies to make this fair, unfortunately. That's why I added Hessians. Also, the GB will be trying to escape instead of fight using it's 75% powercore.
