Early life
Kar was born on an unaffiliated transport that roamed the Omegas. His parents, crew members of said transport, weren't wealth and therefor not able to afford living on a station. There were no other children on the transport and Kar's parents had to fight to keep him on board and not jettison into space aboard a small cargopod. Kar grew up helping around the ship, learning from the rest of the crew what was necessary. Without having anyone around the same age as him, he tended to stick to the crew and tried to be part of them. Even though the captain of the ship initially didn't like the idea of having a child on board, he appreciated the help of the little runt.

Years passed and Kar grew up, not knowing the life outside of the transport but suddenly all changed, within a single day. Kar doesn't know exactly how it happened but suddenly his parents weren't just crew members anymore, they were leading the ship now. Kar, 13 years old by the time, now was avoided by all the crew members and was mostly kept on the bridge. Kar did notice that his parents loaded different cargo than the original owner and flew to different systems. On of their most profitable routes, according to them, was shipping red diamonds from one of the bases owned by the Red Hessians. Due to this, the transport was mostly left alone by the Hessians.

Some more years passed when his parents decided to send Kar to Freeport 1 to visit a school. They rented a small apartment and bought a spot in a small school. Kar's time in school wasn't interesting and he did not learn too much since he had learned lots back on the transport. He constantly got money from his parents and at the day of his graduation even a small box with keys to a fighter parked in on of the hangars. That was most likely the last time Kar had heard from his parents. He suspects that they are dead but he's still uncertain even to this date what exactly happened to them

A young and free man
Kar inspected the ship from time to time, trying to reach his parents without any success. At some point he took all his belongings and left towards the hangar. As he was packing two Hispanic looking man entered the hangar. Kar was unsure what they wanted so he threw in his belongings and readied up the ship. The two corsairs as it turns out, weren't here for a chat, with a fast pace they approached the ship. They tried to threaten Kar but failed, Kar was already closing the cockpit and started the engines. Although never having flown a ship, he did read a lot about in his free time. Without any hesitation he tumbled with the ship out of the hangar, entering open space. He took a short time to collect his thoughts and them started moving. It didn't take long for Kar to run into the same Corsairs again he met in the Hangar. The two ships, freshly undocked from the Freeport charged towards him. Without any hesitation he charged his cruise engines and ran. The ships maps were filed with some coordinates of different Jumpholes and bases.

Running to one of the mapped jumpholes, Kar barely managed to evade the cruise disruptor missiles fired by the corsairs. As the jumphole came closer, he noticed different ships on his scanner. Without any message, the ships passed Kar and engaged the corsairs. The two raiders didn't survive long in the skirmish with the unknown vessels. Kar in the meantime stopped close to the fight but still out of reach from the Corsairs.
After the fight the unknown ships turned their attention towards Kar. He was questioned and told to justify his path. During the conversation, Kar realized that he was talking to a patrol of the Red Hessian Army. Having know that his parents shipped cargo to Hessian bases, Kar decided to ask the Hessians if he's allowed to follow, since he needed a place to stay. Without any impacting objections besides Kar being too yung and inexperienced to join the army, they escorted him to Northeim in Omega 54.
On board the station, his ship was impounded since it presumable contained star-charts that might have been dangerous if they would have fallen into the wrong hands. Kar then was brought into an office and was pressured to enlist, which he did.

Time in the RHA
During his training, Kar performed average in most tests. After he eventually was old enough for Fighter training, he performed on par with the top trainees in his class. After some years, Kar finished his training and was stationed in Omega 5. He saw lots of his comrades die in battle against the corsairs and he himself only barely managed to leave the battlefield alive. Either in a burning ship, a pod or unconscious in a cargohold.
After countless battles and some years, his service and skill was recognized and he got stationed in the core worlds and was appointed to raiding parties. During the time in the core worlds, he earned the respect of his squad leaders and it didn't take long for him to get the first recommendation to consider filing a transfer request to the SOA. It took Kar a few years to consider and, after more successful raids and an offer to join the SOA he, he handed in his transfer request. It didn't take long for him to get transfered to Tangier.

Transfer into the SOA
During the first few weeks he was briefed down planetside before he finally got assigned to his first mission on the 10th of May in 825AS. His first assignment was a reconnaissance flight into to the Omicrons alongside the agents Vikingar, Taijijin, Nachtigal, the Ostwind and Anna Kreutzer.
