Welcome to the Zoner Militia recruitment board!
A group of private Zoners is assembling in the Bering System at the Carrier Tarrafal. Any Zoners available and seeking to assist the carrier's goals of re-asserting Zoner control over Freeport 2 can chip in by signing up for our supporting Zoner Militia.
We're drawing up a Militia of volunteer pilots and captains of all sorts, to assemble for a common purpose: The defense of Zoner lives and property. Military experience is preferable but not necessary, and no contracts are requested of members. This is an entirely volunteer force, and you can indicate if your involvement is that of Reserve Force, or Regular Force, that being a temporary asset versus a long term contributor.
Any Zoners interested are encouraged to bring themselves and any vessels under their command to rendezvous at Carrier Tarrafal in the Bering System ASAP. Once we fill our ranks, we'll divide up into 'columns' based on ship class availability.
We are seeking Captains commanding Destroyer class starships! For now our operation will be within the Bering System, which is highly dense with asteroids and rock debris. Our destroyers are pivotal as they are able to maneuver the rock field and maintain effectiveness. The more of these ships we can assemble, the more potent a force we'll be.
All other vessel types are also required. Gunboats will be distributed equally to Destroyers, which will serve as our command vessels. Pilots of smaller craft such as freighters, fighters and bombers will be assigned to columns in support of the Destroyers. Once we have assembled and organized, we will coordinate with the Tarrafal and its supporting fleet in securing Freeport 2. Transports capable of running humanitarian aid will also be accepted and assigned a role in supplying our ships as well as the station's inhabitants during any transition.
Funding:
We are now also beginning a major drive to raise funds to bolster the quality of our forces. These funds will be used to supply pilots and vessels with everything from basic equipment and armor, to whatever exotic technology we can procure like cloaking devices and cloaking countermeasures. We will also be rewarding major achievements with monetary bonuses. These pay outs will depend on the nature of the achievement. Donations may be done openly or anonymously! Any assistance is welcome, including that in the form of equipment and useful cargo.

Contributors:
Zoners commanding large forces and vessels, like that of Aquilon class carriers, or the even larger Nephilim Colony ships, may still contribute, even if their vessels cannot enter the system. They may also sign up as Contributors and be given a position within our HQ, for donations in credits or equipment to the organization.
The Zoner community at large needs to stick together, and the time to act is now! All Zoners can have a stake in our operation, and invest in the future of Zoner security before its too late.

You are to report to the Bering system ASAP, there you can rendezvous with the Tarrafal. Its always on the move but you should be able to find it in the eastern sector. Once there you should find a Zoner Q-ship nearby named ZM|Starflare, report to its captain when possible.
Your orders are to maintain security around the Carrier Tarrfal, and gather information on the surrounding area. You may approach Freeport 2 to get scan data, but for now do not attempt to land on the station. You are cleared to defend yourself against any aggression, but try to avoid direct conflict with the Rogues, Unioners and Separatists. Don't approach their bases for the time being. Jack has been born on Planet New London. As he grew older, he realized that he was not liking all the rules and laws that the Bretonian Government put up and such he decided to leave the Bretonian Space and settled for several Freeports because he has only heard good things about them. However, Jack also did not completly agree with everything that was happening on the Freeports and so, he decided to join a Nephilim-Class Colony Ship which he later became the Captain of.
With the events of Freeport 11, Jack decided that the Sparta (the Nephilim-Class Colony Ship) was not safe enough for what he was planning to do, and so he abandonded the Sparta and became the Captain of an Independant Zoner-Carrier which is now known as the "Sparta-2", in honor of the first ship that Jack had commanded.

We'll add your vessel to our contributors list. Although this crisis makes bringing a carrier as large as an Aquilon into Bering highly unsafe, your ship may serve at your leisure to support our operation by taking up a position in an adjacent system, Hudson is recommended. You may have to keep the ship on the periphery for this crisis, but in the future, we plan to be able to respond to defend Zoners all over Sirius, and I'm sure we'll all be glad to have the Sparta-2 on our side. If you can't find a place to moor, we'll arrange for a supply freighter to keep your ship operational.
You'll be added to the officer roster as a Captain, and any funds you wish to donate can be sent to ZM|Recruiter. We may have requisition orders soon for small equipment to outfit smaller support craft, we'll relay a list of needed tech as it comes in, and you can help out with that as you see fit.
If though, you would like to take a more active role closer to our main area of operation, we will be supplying several Zoner 'Conference' class gunships, and civilian 'Condor' class gunboats to any captains willing to command them. Perhaps you and some of your best crew would consider the operation of one? Those vessels may be flown sporting the ZM| prefix. We will provide basic loadout and equipment. Any upgrades you desire could be done on your own time. If this interests you, we'll hook you up with a patrol vessel asap.
You may also actively recruit any interested Zoners. Freelancers that wish to join may do so but must change their IFF and Identification to match our own while they serve.
Once your carrier is in the vicinity, report back and we can send a representative to rendezvous outside Bering to coordinate our efforts. We may indeed need you for negotiations as well.

//since the Aquilon can't use the Zoner Militant ID, and we're supposed to have 1 ID per tag (faction), I don't think you could tag it using a regular Zoner ID at the moment. After the Bering crisis shifts or settles, we'll go to reg Zoner ID to go trans-sirius and you can tag it then. until then, a gunship can be provided if you want to fly a tagged ship! Otherwise, help in credits is greatly appreciated, 15 mil gets 3 UAU's now so that isn't bad!

Our recruiter remembers an encounter with your vessel near the Tarrafal, where you already assisted in deterring aggression from local Separatist and Unioner forces. That help is greatly appreciated! Your orders will be to remain in the vicinity and back up the Tarrafal. Please support any smaller ZM craft operating there now. Once we have assembled a decent number of vessels, we'll begin to coordinate fleet operations and training exercises. Jack Steffens' stepsister, she was raised in an orphanage at New Tokyo, she happened to meet "Mr.Steffens', as she called him back then, maintaining the common courtesy, on her home planet's surface, in a small ramen store she was frequenting and she found out that he visited it for the first time to try out what Ramen is; eventually, he enjoyed it, and Michiko since that day sticked around him, until the day he had to depart, and she sneaked aboard of Sparta, taking all her stuff along with her in a giant backpack that, it seemed, she couldn't carry on her own.
In the end, they've decided it'll be better to pretend she's his younger stepsister, and employ her aboard of Sparta to justify her presence and her occupation of a small middle deck apartment.
