heavy countermeasure (CM) not working while cruising with scimitar - j0e - 06-13-2018
As written in the subject: while cruising with my Scimitar ship, I cannot use the heavy countermeasure dropper!
Why?

It uses power. Cruise reduces power. Heavies are meant more for transports and gunboats, I think.

This sounds strange to me, honestly, but I'll try a lighter version of the dropper.

Snubs are supposed to use Sentinels, Fortress or Silencer CMs. Each of them have their pros and contras (...) but the Heavy Countermeasure Dropper is supposed to be used by capital ships. They require a lot of energy which snubs can't effectively provide. Capital ships can and thus can profit from the better stats - they need those because they are bigger and way easier for homing projectiles to hit.

To add on @"Sombra Hookier"'s post, that's why you also don't want to be using the Reinforced Cruise Disruptor on a Scimitar. It takes 3000 energy to fire which is a lot on snubs and negligible on capital ships. LFs go for wasps, HFs and VHFs for Mosquitos, caps for Reinforced and everyone else for Trains, although Trains are versatile all-round and can be used by any ship with good success.
