1001 Nights in Nauru - Backo - 06-26-2018

CHAPTER TWO

The rooftop's door slid open revealing an auburn haired Maltese with a black flight suit, a big deep blue colored travel sack with the Core's logo on the outside in one hand, ballistic glasses on her jacket's collar and a cherry lollipop in her mouth. In her back pocket was a nicely fit PDA that was blasting some Rheinland neu wave music on it's not too impressive speakers. The girl walked to the middle of the rooftop before carefully dropping the sack on the ground and pulling out the device from her back pocket. She shifted the lollipop from one cheek to the other while opening up some application which showed her location in 3D relative to another dot labeled as "target" that was a couple of stories down and to the left.

The redhead had no way to know if this location was still valid as it was already almost a week old or if it was valid at first to begin with. It was a bit suspicious that Enma, that was hiding in the butt crack of the universe was also sending picture of other redheads' butt crack with location attached to Eliza. Maybe she slipped up, maybe it was a trap, the young girl had no way to know until she checked it herself. With a popping sound she pulled the lollipop from her mouth and used it to point with an extended arm to the side where the apartment was supposed to be side before putting the sweet treat back in her lips and storing the PDA in her pocket again.

The blue eyed girl bent forward, unzipped the sack from one end to the other and began unpacking the inventory. First came out the XV-15C with a much shortened barrel that made it almost as compact as an SMG and a forward grip to better handle the recoil. Eliza unfolded the rifle's stock and locked it in position before raising the Ageira Technologies automatic boomstick to her eye level and flicking the Daumann reflex sight on. The green chevron sight soon lit up to it's full brightness, marking the exact location where death would be dispersed with extreme prejudice should the weapon be loaded. Next the Maltese pulled out a 50 round magazine out of the sack and slid it into the gun with a satisfying CLACK! sound once the mechanism locked and the bullet counter lit up displaying 50 on the side. Making sure it's safety is on first, the girl put the rifle's sling over her head and onto her shoulder, letting the XV-15C rest on her hip. It wasn't a refurbished Glock 34 but it would had to do.

She crouched above her inventory, this time a bit more carefully because of the rifle hanging somewhat loosely on her side and began taking out the rest of the gear. She put another 50 round mag in her right leg's satchel, hopefully the first 50 rounds would be enough for this hostage rescue slash assassination, she still wasn't exactly sure what she would do with her wife. A pair of stun grenades, courtesy of the dealer on Barrier Gate, she attached to her belt. Next came out the breach charge which was rolled up into a nice package that she could fit in her other leg's satchel. Lastly came out a long and thick black rope with a grapple hook on the end that Eliza slid across her shoulder.

With all the necessities on her Eliza made her way to the edge of the building's roof. Leaning with her hands on the protective fence she gave a wide look at the whole city. She never liked Nauru and she didn't like it any more than usual now either. If everything went smoothly hopefully she would be out of this place in no more than an hour. She pulled out the device from her back pocket again to double check the location and to mute the now unneeded distraction that it was playing. Eliza took the ballistic glasses from her collar and put them on her forehead before unzipping the flight jacket to store the electronic tool in her inner pocket, somewhere where it won't slip by accident while she's rappelling down or doing other activities of tactical nature.

Zipping back the jacket she slid the rope from her shoulder and unrolled it before securing the hook at the parapet on the roof's edge. The auburn girl gave the rappel a few nudges and pulls to make sure it's secure enough to hold her lightweight figure and the couple of kilograms of gear she was carrying. It felt secure enough so with an expression of somewhat relief she attached the rope to her belt before tossing it overboard and preparing to jump over the parapet into a decent. With one leg over the fence she stopped and looked up, mumbling a short prayer. Over the past two years she had done quite a few crazy stunts but this one was about to top many of them.

With two hands now on the rope she flipped her other leg over the edge of the building and began rappelling down quite rapidly. The rubber soles of her boot luckily gave her enough friction to halt her decent once she reached the right floor. Eliza pulled out the BC-38D directional breach charge from the satchel and unfolded it before attaching it's sticky side to the wall between her legs. Stenn had mentioned using this to open blast doors on ships and stations he had boarded and this wall hardly looked like a competitor. The girl pulled the ballistic glasses down to her eyes and pressed the button on the side, activating the augmented reality that displayed the building's interior design in a somewhat crude fashion on the right glass. A long exhale. It was showtime. Eliza grabbed the XV-15C's handgrip with one hand and flicked the safety off. Her other hand was occupied holding the breach charge's trigger mechanism. This is where her limited ground training in all 3 paramilitaries she was part of over the last year and half was about to finally pay off.

Pushing herself away from the wall as hard as she could she squeezed the trigger mechanism. The blast charge detonated with it's shielding focusing the charge in direction of the wall, creating a momentary fog of smoke, debris and whatnot. The Maltese quickly dropped the detonator and put her hand on the belt, preparing to disengage the belt from the rope as soon as she felt she's actually inside the room. Thankfully her extended and locked legs passed through the smoke without an issue, the blast charge had created an opening big enough for her to pass through. CLANK!, the belt released from the rope at her command and her boots soon made contact with the floor.

Without letting a moment pass her now free hand squeezed and pulled the stun grenade from her belt rig, leaving the pin there. Her eyes locked on the door frame straight ahead of her as she lunged the flashbang into it. With bare moments before it would detonate after it's impact the Outcast quickly grabbed the rifle with both hands for more secure grip and rushed forward and to the side of the door so that she would be at least a bit shielded from the grenade's result. BANG! What followed was the annoying ear raping sound of tinnitus that muffled whatever hearing she had left after the breach charge. Eliza stormed into the room yelling at the top of her lungs the first thing that came to mind in such a situation:

"LSF SWAT! GET DOWN ON THE GROUND!"

What she was met with was a rather disoriented redhead wearing nothing but a black thong holding a pancake pan.

The sound was deafening, the tinnitus ringing hard like three thousand monkeys crazy for bananas all screaming weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

You get the idea. Nevermind the sheer blinding light that just came at her eyes, more white than Loyola's behind. Silver with the skillet, skidded on the floor and hit herself with the skillet, yes, a skillet, you cuisine barbarian, in the head.

"Aw."

Tal burst out from Silver's fridge, covered almost from head to toe in guacamole and salami slices. Somehow, he manages to see through the guac-caked lenses of his AN/PVS-15s as he carefully steps over and around the ridiculous amount of leftovers and raw ingredients that he'd spilled all over the kitchen floor, his own XV-15 leveled at a low ready position. His weapon, of a regular length for regular-sized people, was fitted with a 14.5-inch cold-hammer forged barrel. Creeper peeper-ing was provided by a night vision device-compatible EOTech XPS 3-2 mounted on a LaRue 5/8-inch riser, which allowed him to keep his head more upright when operating in close quarters for extended periods of time, reducing neck strain.

Carefully, he maneuvered himself and his weapon through the building, his off-hand riding up tightly against the short Tango Down vertical foregrip, as he flashed each room in the apartment with a click of a button on his Surefire dual pressure pad, activating the IR illuminator and aiming laser of his Steiner DBAL-A3 attached to the end of the top rail. Due to the nature of the raised optic, he had more of a chin weld on the widened cheeks of his B5 Systems SOPMOD stock, the long tubes of the PVS-15s sitting comfortably behind the raised, boxy holographic optic, as he rolled around the corner and saw Silver lying on the floor. Quickly, he'd reach up, pushing the PVS-15s up on their mount, and return to a ready position, thumb over bore with a tight chin-weld as he depressed the other button on his pressure switch to activate the Surefire scout light attached at a 45-degree angle on the upper right end of the free-floating handguard, showering Silver with 500 lumens of bright white light.

"FREEZE, MOTHERFUCKER, SHOW ME YOUR HANDS!"

"Just let me sleep five more minutes, mom."

Silver snored.

Enma was just sitting there, realizing how she hates all those tactical people with cool guns. Maybe she's jealous simply because she will never manage to be as cool as they are. Now there was Tal Ravis screaming, something about hands and fucking mothers.

"Please..."

RE: 1001 Nights in Nauru - Silver - 06-26-2018

Silver snored. Peacefully. Calmly.

She's on her back sleeping when she felt something fall on her face. It felt like a rubber mask just fell on her face and started to mold itself to her face like wet gum. With her eyes closed she still can see the mask and it's face, it was pure white with v shaped chin and sinister grin that showed the tips of it's sharp needle teeth. It's eyes were hallow and squinted like it was laughing, as it started to show black and white images of black and white swirling hypo lines with it's face in the middle.

It didn't say anything but she started to see words forming under it like a caption that said "Have you killed too few or too many?"
She tried to close her eyes and open them but she kept seeing it's face as it got longer and closer as she couldn't move her eyes or her face.
She sat up and started to claw her face to rip the thing off as it started to peel off and finally it was tossed on the floor.
But suddenly she heard a voice from behind her saying.

"Isn't time for you to wake up now ?"

Silver snored.

Screamed Faye Valentine at the top of her lungs while pointing a gun at Silver's head.

Sitting just across from the house where all the action was taking place was another woman. Dressed in some sort of hybrid of body armor and EVA components. She sat inside the across the house from them, the view through the large window revealed a bit of the action, and the scenery of Nauru's amazing night sky.

She took a few deep breaths, as if she were about to make the longest free dive the world had ever seen. Just after the clear portion of the mask lifted, and to her mouth went a small glass of rum. When it left, the rum left with it. As she exhaled the mask folded over her face again, carefully, she placed the glass down on the floor and resumed indulging herself in the entertainment.

Why do they always exclude me from these stories? She said to herself with a deep, yet soft Bretonian accent.

RE: 1001 Nights in Nauru - Lythrilux - 06-29-2018

Erik Nodviet walked into the room, waving and smiling towards the audience. "Hey everyone! It's me! I guess you did Nodt see that coming!" he said jovially.
