For more than three years, the Leeds Resistance has been struggling to have improved communication relays to facilitate out of planet transmissions. Today, a daring raid on the gallic controlled Otley Communication Array secured such.

Good morning, my name is Lewis Atterton, and I have been accompanying the Leeds Resistance for the past two months. It is more bloody and brutal than our collective thoughts back in New London and Cambridge can imagine, a hellish existence without end. True, one can tell a true war story from a fake one by the way it never seems to end. And these brave men and women live it, daily. But even the brave need support not only in the form of weapons, technology, food and medicine, but also on the mental and spiritual level.

The soldiers of the resistance took a heavy blow last week as Major General Williams was injured, while directing his troops to evacuate civilians, in an artillery shelling on the city of Kingston. The morale was low and a win was needed desperately, as Brigadier George Coats wants the Resistance to keep its efficiency and edge. Her Majesty Bretonian Armed Forces was quick to reply, sending support in the form of expert personnel to assist Brigadier Coats in his mission, while Major General Williams recuperates from his emergency surgery.

Well, today, the spirits of the courageous men and women of the Resistance are soaring, as a decisive blow was delivered to the Gaul invaders. Earlier today, a three-pronged attack was executed in the Otley sector. At first, it seemed the operation was doomed to a stalemate due to the heavily entrenched gallic defense forces. But as confusion reigned in as two Merchant Navy Clydesdales appeared and were shot down by gallic anti-aircraft batteries, Brigadier Coats forces were roused by one of the passengers of the Clydesdales and managed to break through, completely taking control of the objective. One hour later, with the necessary equipment retrieved, the Resistance cleared the field leaving an burning Communication Array for the Gauls.

The following statements was taken from soldiers that participated in the action, but until now, no word from Brigadier Coats or the leadership of the Resistance.

Second Lieutenant Marcus Ellington:
"All we saw was the Commodore getting out of the wrecked Clydesdale, wearing the resistance exo and a big arsed cleaver, like she was a angel or a demon."

Lieutenant Ellis Nibley:
"Out of nowhere, that woman appears telling the men that Bretonia wasn't far away. It was there in each and everyone of them. And then, she just attacked. And by the Queen, we all followed."

Now, with inter-planetary communications secured and steady, things are looking up for the Resistance and Leeds. Our analysis is that an increased rate of coordinated attacks by the Resistance will happen, capitalizing in the new found equipment and morale. We will continue to follow the Resistance in their courageous mission until the end of it all.

God save the Queen and Bretonia, for we march to Victory!
