Sandwich Rule - Kaze - 07-25-2018

Once upon a time, there was a Sandwich Rule in these forums. A good rule. A solid rule.

It stated that if you are about to post something that will originate a very heavy and possible drama generating reply/thread/post, you should go to your kitchen, make a sandwich and eat it.

Then return and look at what you were about to post and think if it would be worth it, if it would be of added value to the subject at hand.

If so, post. If not, go ingame and have fun.

That rule unfortunately was deleted. Can we get a shovel to dig here?

The problem with rules like these, although innocent and valid in nature, is that people use them as a rebuttal to ignore others.

What we need is to instantly give warnings and if needed tempbans for any insult thrown against player. Perhaps then people will get used to behave like civilized persons.

+1

And ultimately that rule would end up being too expensive for some players to be added.

I miss the sandwich rule. One of the few objectively good relics of that time so long ago.

We should bring it back.
