This is a very high-risk place to work. When they pulled this ship together in the Pittsburgh Debris field, they were more interested in making a shell around the reactor and engines than anything else. What this means is that we have to gradually replace the parts that get worn off piecemeal until Senior Staff budgets downtime and resources to do a complete overhaul.

We have a waiting list years long to get a standard six-month contract on a Brick. We're encouraging our wealthier investors to expand their personal fleets to accomodate more people. What we need is some attrition to separate the wheat from the chaff, because I'm not sure the people we're getting now are the people I want to have to depend on when the chips are down.

TITAN-Holt Products is the most cutting-edge research and development firm in all of Sirius... said nobody, ever. Our advances, such as they are, amount to seeing what new tricks we can make Burnett's toys do, and seeing if they can be marketed. As of now, anything we do is trial phase, and kept in-house with League personnel. So don't ask.

Our goodwill mission in Gallia is returning dividends far greater than we imagined. The suits at Kruger Minerals are very happy with the profits their Omega operations pull in, and the Kingdom's shipbuilding industry are ecstatic that we expedite the materials to ply their trade.

Yes, I am a collaborator. You say that as though it's shameful. But we have to face the reality that they have the military might to overtake most, if not all, of Sirius, eventually. And I, for one, want to be on the winning side, for my sake, and my children's sake. The Kingdom is most generous with those who aid it of their own free will. You should try it sometime.

It's risky as all hell to use Jump Drives, especially for commerce. We do it anyway because we're paid a lot of money, as well as a generous insurance plan. Nobody's here who doesn't want to be.

I've sometimes considered quitting. This place is a madhouse, and Jump Drive operations make me sick. But the money's too good to just leave it, and I'll suffer now for never having to work again later. Only three more months until my contract's up, after all.

The League boys? Hah! They're heavily-armed and spoiling for a fight. If you want to go on a looting spree, don't go near them. However, if they approach you and try to hire you to do some dirty work, they pay decently. I ate like Gallic royalty for a month off of one job for them.

I'm not supposed to talk about this, but apparently some hyperspace merchantmen are making up sizable amount of the materials and supplies shipped here these days. Some of them even come down here. They look shifty, but they pay their tabs in full and tip generously.

They grafted this fur on me and it itches like all hell. But at least I look fabulous. I just want to... What are you doing with that gun? No, no, nooooooo!

You must have seen the latest batch of prisoners brought in from Ile-de-France. We've taken up using prison labor to cut costs, as well as giving the criminals a chance to pay their debt to society by helping to build it. These are all volunteers, however. When their services are no longer required, they will be free citizens of the Kingdom once more.
