Summary

The Orion Corps was founded in 825 A.S. by Sora Kobayashi, formerly known to the Blood Dragons as Yoshitsune Hideyoshi. After leaving Kusari space due to internal strife and danger to his life and that of his daughter, the disgraced former shogun used his old contacts in both the GMG and the Order to escape to Rheinland. The following few months were spent with an ill-fated Bundschuh splinter group that dissolved only a short time after he joined. Lacking purpose and financial security for him and his daughter, he instead returned to the battlefields of Northern and Eastern Sirius once more, this time as a freelancer. Seeing the value in offering mercenary services in such a heated warzone, he elected to form the Orion Corps from the tiny retinue he had accrued over the years. Only time will tell where this fledgling fighting force of freelancers ends up in the maelstrom of Sirius.

Organization

Due to the small size of the Corps, ranks and organizational structure are minimal. The primary unit within the corps is a Lance made up of four mercenaries. The four lancers are led by a lancer-captain. These lances have almost complete autonomy to carry out contracts and accomplish jobs, although all are held accountable to the larger group. The leader of the Corps has no official title, although unofficially holds authority instead.

Its fledgling beginnings mean that it cannot sustain Sirius-wide operations initially. As such, the group is expected to focus on specific regions and war zones for its operations. The locations will vary depending on their contracts.
