Kirishima - the reconstruction. - The Ando Initiative - 08-19-2018
Nowadays it was a rare sight to see a Togo stationed in the drydock of Mito shipyards.
Most of these mammoth vessels have already been repossessed, repaired and brought into action by The Shogunate long time ago, and since then server as a reliable, impenetrable shield of Chugoku and, sometimes - the finalizing word in the operations of The Blood Dragons.
These aging vessels, despite their long sleep, could still match their heavier counterpart, the Tokugawa.
Even despite this facts, Lady Luck have still been smiling upon the minor Clans, allowing them to lay their hands on one of these venerable battleships - and to have the wits restore them to their formed glory.
"Furukawa, analysis report." - a young-looking women approached the large porthole opening an impressive view on a large vessel recently towed here by the personnel of Mito Shipyards. Her colleague, whose name, apparently, was Furukawa, have stretched, stood at attention.
"Kon'nichiwa, Yoshino-san. the towing operation have been concluded successfully thirty seven minutes twenty nine seconds ago, Togo have been successfully fit into the drydock, structure analysis have been commenced and finished as well."
Furukawa have handed a small datapad over to Yoshino, that have revealed the Togo in three dimensions - viewed broadside, from top and beneath respectively.

Yoshino nodded in understanding, taking a look at the present results of the structure analysis. Furukawa proceeded with further explanation.
"It is clearly seen that the Togo have spent over five hundred years in the Crow Nebula. The armor plating have thinned over centuries, and is now close to non-existent, both primary and secondary power circuit are barely functional and should be replaced along with external armor plating, several hull breaches - near the captains' bridge, at the crew's quarters, on the engineering deck. Apparently, the vessel have been severally hindered by the combat that took place aboard of it, and by a sabotage that have occurred later. Aside from all the flaws listed, internal electronics are barely functional and outdated, it will be easier to actually replace them rather than restoring and maintaining the currently present samples.
However, there are multiple positive sides present. The weapon and engine systems can be restored rather easy, with only minor outside intrusions and attention, they seem to have no major difference from the technologies currently present in Kusari - and in the hands of the Blood Dragons. After more precise calculations i will provide you with the full list of materials we are going to need if we ever hope to make this proud Dragon venture through the space once again."
Yoshino exhaled. The path set was not going to be an easy walk, but should they really beat this game one day - it will affect the future of the Initiative greatly.

It took them three days to move on from preliminary to deep analysis, accomplish all the tests and calculations - and to present their results to Hakodate Yoshino herself. A knocking sound on her door released her from her thoughts, she finally paid attention to her surroundings.
"Yes, come in."
Furukawa then stepped inside, clutching a large datapad to her chest. Sachiko handed it over to Yoshino as she approached.
"Here, Yoshino-san. All the necessary calculations have been processed and the list of materials have been composed in accordance to the discovered issues. Refer to the datapad for more information."
