What have you done this time? I'm unsure I can truly answer such a vague query without a full explanation and the provision of clear details. In general, yes, a Marshal can in fact secure a "VIP" from assault. You wouldn't be the first person my men would be forced to safe-guard, though I'm positively certain your situation is.. unique, let's put it that way.

What do you need? Please just keep it reasonable.

How to put this.. Right. I need you to contact Elisabeth DeGrange, ESRD. Open up a coded channel, etcetera. Don't mention my name, just say an asset, engineer, whatever rocks your boat that needs to speak to her. She has in her possession.. something I need. Blueprints of a failed Navy development. Yes, supposedly secret, but not so much since.. well, it failed. Liberty doesn't like to publicize failures, but when it comes to busted ass projects that never saw the light of day, the security ain't that sharp.

Bottom line, from what I've seen and heard, I can make it work. I'll even throw it back working and all to you fellas. But, for all that is holy, don't tell her where I am. And why are you calling me Mr. Dagon? What did I do now?

DeGrange and I go back. Getting in touch with her won't be too difficult. Though I'm sure she'll be curious since it'll be a little out of the blue. Nevertheless I'm in the field of intelligence, I'd like to know exactly what it is I'm contacting her about and what you want with it. I'm assuming this is for the Nemesis but I can never be too certain can I?

To put your concerns at ease, I'll tell her a technician of mine requires these blueprints for a project of ours and that he might have a solution to whatever its problems happen to be. This is going to be get me in trouble somehow, I can feel it..

DeGrange and I also go.. way back. Hmm, right. I guess you can venture a guess by now. We didn't said goodbye on good terms. I mean, it wasn't my choice really, but Legion and Navy...

Anywho, the project in question is a weapon. You people love your forward guns. A deserter brought to the Legion several outlines of benched projects from the Navy, and this one was part of it. Love at first sight, really. But it was just the outlines. I need the rest, blueprints, project data, the works because I know I can make it happen.

And yes, it is for the Nemesis. Hell, you can say the Nemesis is for this gun. I've designed the ship around that beast of a weapon. The power core was made for this gun. The engines carry enough thrust to move this gun. Thing is, the project was to replace your Siege Cannon for the LSC. I got to.. scale it down still.

And again. Don't say it's me from the get go, or she'll close the channel the moment you say my name. I know it. Because I tried it.

Knowing DeGrange, you're screwed.

I'll see what I can do to make this work, but for future reference and given the fact that every woman you sleep with seems to wind up hating you, perhaps it wouldn't be the worst thing for you to not sleep with just about every woman you happen to develop a fancy for? It would really make things much simpler for me in situations such as this and perhaps lengthen the pay-out of your life insurance.

I can only hope all this time, effort and investment turns out to be worth it.
