Subject: Request for Transfer to Cruiser Command
Encryption: Heavy

Herr Morgenstern:

In reviewing current Union guidelines regarding vessel assignment, I understand that my recent acknowledgement to the title of Gefreiter entitles me to request command of a Hel-class cruiser. I hope that my service record and willingness to go to any lengths to protect the Union would encourage you to please contemplate, consider and approve my request to be transferred into command or second-in-command roles on such a cruiser.

Although I enjoy fighter duty, escorting and ensuring the safety of those traversing Bering and our territories and routes throughout Rheinland, fighter assignments are very limiting. I want to do more for the Union, and I want to be able to better protect those in my care. This especially applies to Pacifica Base, which is the most threatened outpost that we have. What I lack in experience, I make up for in being able to learn quickly and to follow orders. I also have repeatedly demonstrated my willingness to sacrifice for the Union.

I realize this request is unorthodox for someone as new as I am. I only hope you will consider it. I would happily consider second-in-command of an already-assigned vessel if needed, to learn the ropes before assuming command of my own. I will, of course, remain always willing to fly the Mecklenburg fighter at any time that the Union would require it, and am not so caught up in my own ego to believe that this opportunity would exclude me from that duty.

I look forward to hearing your reply.

Respectfully,
Hunter Wollf

Guten Abend, arbeiter.

I apologise for the delay with the answer. I'm currently having some kind of problems with my... Egh... Better to not talk about it. It nutshell, there are people who want to kill me, so I'm forced to use this heavly encrypted neural-net. Anyway...

Commanding a cruiser? It's a big responsibility. And I can't see you fitting this role. But I'm open minded and always can change my mind. So you should show me, that you know how to work with people and deal with various tasks.

Long time ago our two "Erika" and "Scharfrichter" cruisers were seriously damaged. I requested materials and managed to repair "Erika", but it was a dark time for our movement. The rest of materials went lost, so damaged "Scharfrichter" is still gathering dust at Wedel. You are to organise materials supply and repair this cruiser. I've got a materials manifest for you:

Materials manifest for repairing cruiser AlsterSpecialShip (ASS) 128-A
Conducted by Stefan Morgenstern, Wedel Facility, 1800 SST (Standart Sirius Time), 29.12.824 A.S
Hull:
3250 units of Reinforced alloys
1250 units of Basic alloys
2000 units of Industrial Materials
Engine systems:
6000 units of Engine Components
2000 units of MOX
Electronic systems:
2500 units of Reinforced alloys
6000 units of Industrial Materials

Choose faction to get in touch with and organize delivery.

You also need to find your right arm, the person, who will be near with you at the bridge. Talk with arbeiters around and offer a candidate.

And finally... You should learn how to work with cruisers class. So, since this moment, you are my right arm at LSV-Erika. You will command this ship by your own most of time, as I have business somewhere else. But I will be there to show you the basics, that's for sure.

Report on your progress as soon as possible.

Auf Wiedersehen

Herr Morgenstern:

Thank you for this opportunity. I will board the Erika immediately, and the crew and I will get it to Krefeld in one piece.

I will take on the logistics order as soon as that is complete.

I will report to you again when each task is finished.

Thank You,
Hunter Wollf

Herr Morgenstern:

The Erika is now safely docked at Krefeld. I encountered a Rheinland military battle cruiser en route, but was able to avoid direct conflict through some...creative conversation.

Your vessel and crew, myself included, await your next command. I will remain with the Erika and work on the logistics orders from here.

Thank You,
Hunter Wollf

Herr Morgenstern:

I continue to work on the logistics order for Wedel. It's coming along slowly. Unfortunately, that's not why I am contacting you today.

As evidenced below, I was attacked and forced to eject from my fighter today in the Dresden system. Although this system is outside the Union patrols, I felt there was no significant risk in taking a look. Scout ships in the area had reported activity from the Rheinland Police and the Military, and I felt it would be prudent to ensure they were not amassing for an incursion in our direction. I wish I could report it was the Rheinland Military to blame, but it was not. It was the Rote Hessen Armee.

I don't know much about why they attacked. There was little discussion before they simply opened fire, and ignored a request to halt. Apparently, there is a standing order among their ilk to destroy Union vessels on contact. At least, that is what I gathered from the brief communication.

I would request that we immediately consider all Rote Hessen Armee vessels as hostile accordingly, unless we can identify and rectify the cause of their attack.

Sincerely,
Hunter Wolff

I apologize for the delay on this. I will get on the Hansa to get it done. They have delivered most of the supplies, but not all.
