First time playing discovery! - dudee - 09-25-2018
I'm currently revisiting games that I loved when I was younger, vanilla Freelancer being one of them. I am totally stoked that there are still some awesome and active multiplayer modding communities out there!
After a bit of research I decided to try out discovery, and I think i'm going to stay a while
I decided to start out as a semi-legal trader, while being as neutral as possible. It will be fun to see how cheeky I can be and what I can get away with. I decided to stay low and focus on making money rather than looking for interactions, but I'll probably change that as soon as I have a decent pile of cash and a nice ship
If you're also a noob, please feel free to accompany me on some trade runs!

Hey. Welcome to discovery.
If you happen to need to bribe a zoner to land on rogue bases, there's a rogue bribe on freeport 14 in Alberta and Beaumont in Texas. If not...They're there anyhow.

I suggest joining one of the player factions once you feel like you want to be involved in more interaction.

I am interested! I assume those are weight values? If so, then those ships are out of my reach, unfortunately. It is my second day as a freelancer today ...
However, I've found some lucrative methods already, I should be the proud owner of a Mammoth (2200) by tomorrow. Will that do?
