Scientists and Academics:

Good evening. I am Senior Agent Tracer, of the Liberty Security Force. Funding has been allocated for a number of acquisitions, including a batch of scientific data, as well as remains of Cultist weaponry and ships.

It has come to the attention of the Agency that the Cult of Technology has specifically upgraded a number of their missile and projectile weapons with extremely accurate tracking and control mechanisms. The Security Force wishes to acquire information specifically regarding these devices and their method of operation. Scans of the weapons, analyses of exhaust gasses and explosive residue, and trajectory tracking data will all be accepted and compensated for appropriately. In addition, remnants of expended ordinance including boosters, thrust vectoring equipment, and guidance computers will also be of great value to the Agency. Payment will be discussed pending presentation of the required goods. This channel will remain open for replies until our demand for the above items is satisfied.

To Senior Agent Tracer;

My name is Katherine Pennybrooke, I'm a freelance researcher and explorer originally from Cambridge. My educational background is in atmospheric physics, though in recent years I've mostly pursued other ventures in the edge worlds.
As it so happens, I was witness to an incident in the Omicrons involving this so-called Cult of Technology. I did manage to obtain a certain amount of encrypted data archives from the remains of their installation and ships, as well as the scanning data from my own ship.
Frankly, most of it is unlikely to be of much use to me, as I simply don't have the expertise to analyze it myself, and since weapons and shipboard technology isn't something I intend to devote myself to, I'm unlikely to reach out to my connections for assistance with it.

I don't normally work with house agencies, but considering your presumably vast resources and limitless access to high technology and information, I'd be hard pressed not to at least consider it. I'm not sure what you're willing to offer in return, but if you're interested in principle perhaps we can arrange something.

Regards, Katherine Pennybrooke

Miss Pennybrooke:

The Agency appreciates your prompt response. We had been prepared to wait a considerable period of time for someone to contact us with the appropriate information. For your safety and ours, all communications between our parties will be encrypted with high-security LSF encoding.

Moving along to business. "Limitless access" is perhaps a strong term. I'd prefer "extensive," it's a tad more realistic. Regardless, Credits are not the only thing the Security Force has to offer. While they are our preferred method of conducting business with outside entities, alternate transactions are more than possible. I would very much prefer you be blunt with your requests, however. Beating around the bush is a pet peeve of mine.

Suffice it to say, we are interested.

Greetings, uh.. "Tracer"

I'm Tawrn, and I think I have something you'd be interested in. Over the span of my time working on and with weapons all over Sirius, I've seen none quite so far removed from the usual technologies employed by all the houses and other factions as those used by the "Cult of Technology", barring Gallia naturally. In recent moths, I have... acquired a set of weapons used by the Cult, specifically, the Manticore Cannons used by their fighters, as well as a few remains of their smaller drones, for examination. Now, in my test firings of the weapons, as well as some poking around the in wreckage's, I think I've gathered some useful information about their capacities, and by extrapolation, some of the tactics used by the Cult. Not that ship construction and fleet tactics are exactly my specialty, but I think it's a pretty darn good theory as to how the Cult fights their battles, given the available data. I'll leave figuring out how to counter this sorta tactics to you, should you want to hear what I've found.

Let me know what your willing to pay, and we can talk some business.

"Tawm":

While we are appreciate of the offer regarding the Manticore cannons and Cultist fleet tactics, we are much more specific in our requirements for data. Cultist missile technology is of far greater importance to the Agency. If you have scan data of their munitions, or anything related to it, we would be interested.

On the subject of the Drone Remains, the Security Force would be interested in procuring a number of them. Their contents could prove useful. 10 tons of debris or other sorted remnants of their Drones should be sufficient, at a cost of 5 million Sirius Credits per ton. Pickup will take place in person at a location of your choosing.

The Agency looks forward to your reply.

Esteemed Senior Agent Tracer,

my name is Ezrael Vertiga. My science officer redirected this message to me as I am probably able to give you what you look for. My ship, the Apahanta, is one of the few ships that usually react to Cult of Technology incursions in areas we can legally access. We had numerous encounters with the Cultists and in fact have a lot of digital footage, scans, salvaged blueprints and even a few prototypes of Cultist-related technology in our possession. As for the specific technology you mentioned, the Cult of Technology has been recorded to be using advanced weaponry that can be compared to the following sirian counterparts:

[Image: fFjZi4I.png] ANC-2 "Nova" Antimatter Torpedo Launcher
‣ equipped on Bomber-type Cult of Technology Drones

[Image: fFjZi4I.png] "Nightmare" Battleship Missile Silo
‣ equipped on Carrier-type Cult of Technology VS-0074 Command Carriers

Additional to these, two rather unique missile-type weapon systems have been spotted as well:

[Image: fFjZi4I.png] "Heavy Torpedo" Launcher
‣ equipped on Gunboat-type and Explorer-type Cult of Technology Combat Vessels

[Image: fFjZi4I.png] "Titan" Missile Turret
‣ equipped on Carrier-type Cult of Technology VS-0074 Command Carriers

If you are interested, we could send you our data archive. In return, as that is probably the most simple solution, I would assume a payment of 100.000.000 Credits would be worth the package. While it would certainly be a blessing if you could arrange something that would permanently permit a foreign warship to legally move through Liberty, from Bretonia to Kepler and back, without the need of a pre-requested escort, I guess that is something that will remain out of question, which is fully understandable.

Alternatively, I wonder whether you would be able to have two women disappear from Liberty's criminal records. Entirely.

Ezrael Vertiga:

A very impressive collection of data, mister Vertiga. The Security Force would be more than willing to pay your sum of money, and approval has already been granted.

I, however, recognize the value of the Credit in this post-Rheinland-war economy. The Government of the Republic has seen fit to, let's say, "prune some expenses." While the Credits are available to make this arrangement come to fruition, I'm more inclined to offer alternate forms of payment.

Tell me, who would these two women be? Perhaps an agreement could be reached.

Senior Agent,

the women in question are Miss Nancy Sweetwater and Miss Maren von Westefeld. Miss Sweetwater used to be known as Sangria Reaver during their active times, however after she was caught and trialed by Kusari, she was permanently disabled by them. Now she suffers an extreme memory loss without any hint of recovery and faces the fact that she is still unwelcome to the four sirian houses. A friend of mine took care of her, however when she learned about her past, she moved to Liberty to try and broker a deal with one of your branches, apparently Agency 404, but was horribly treated by them. Which caused the other woman in question to extract her from Liberty, legitimatelly kidnapping an asset of 404 by doing so. While neither of them have received any note about anything related to that, it is obvious that after these events, both women are no longer welcome to Liberty. Out of sympathy for a friend of mine who took care of both women, I would like to change that.

If that would be possible for you to arrange, I would be inclined to transfer the full data package to you without a monetary compensation.

Ezrael Vertiga:

Between you and I, our branch of the Security Force and Agency 404 tend to not have the... Best relations. If your tale of miss Sweetwater's misfortune is true, I suppose they could hardly be considered the person they once were. Morally, I'd like to think their punishment makes up for their past misdeeds. However, I am not a judge, nor have I sat on a jury in recent memory. That just leaves executioner.

If miss Sweetwater and miss Westefeld were to perhaps encounter a Security Force patrol hell-bent on returning them to Libertonian custody, and they resisted, we'd have no choice but to "end" them. With their final disappearance, their criminal case files within the House could be closed. Any sighting of them could be chalked up to superficial similarities in appearance with current Libertonian citizens or visitors.

All it would require is a few after-action reports to be filed, and your issue could be cleanly resolved. You would require a convincing alias for your travels through Liberty, however. I could arrange that as well, though the resources of the Security Force. If these terms are agreeable, we can do business.

Senior Agent,

This sounds acceptable to me. Should you require any information for the sake of these reports to appear more realistic, that can be arranged, although I trust that the LSF has enough information on them. That goes for the aliases as well.

I ordered my science officer to compile a package for you, it should be ready within the next 24 hours. You will then receive the first half of the package, and once you fulfilled your part of the bargain, the other half. I believe that is fair, given you have the leverage to revert your part at any time.
