Raisu has it correct here. From my point of view (and I'm sure many of the vagrants and K'hara will agree), any system that links to our controlled space is an area of contention and must be guarded against intrusion. Anything connecting to omicron lost, iota, psi, major, etc. is an area that we patrol frequently and try to keep humans out of. We dont much care if the outcasts waltz around alpha/beta/sigmas/whatever, but when you start coming to delta to 'see the sights', you dont look any different to us than a core or order or zoner ship, and yes we're going to be outright hostile towards you.

We gave shadow a chance to talk and leave peacefully, he ignored it to force his own gameplay on everyone else involved while abusing game mechanics to avoid being killed. It was poor play, no way around it.

EDIT:

Also, another point that should be considered: The larger your ship is, the more attention you're going to draw to yourself. If you bring a dreadnaught to hostile space, you're going to get sought out, and we're going to view it as an aggressive act. Nomads arent stupid, we know that the largest human ships are designed for war, and more often than not they're people out 'farming' nomad remains.

If you want to go into hostile space without drawing as much attention, maybe bring a smaller ship? You'll be viewed as far less threatening. Of course, you hardly ever see indy players flying anything smaller than a battlecruiser nowadays, so maybe that's too much to ask.

Okay, you're raising the vitriol level a bit too much.

So how exactly did i abuse game mechanics?

This is verging over into trial by forum, and you've been around far too long to be doing that. If you believe a game mechanic was abused, then file a report. I don't want to see a repeat of this.

Edit: Nevermind, I have no idea why this wasn't locked already.
