To The S.C.E.C High Commissar Alexei Novikov |Secure| - Kalhmera - 10-16-2018 Dr. Stephen Callahan : [Comm-ID] |O|- The Order ~ High Commissar Alexei Novikov : [Receiver-ID] SCEC~ Omicron Iota, Major : [Subject] High Commissar Novikov,
I am Doctor Callahan of The Order, Legacy of Orillion cell. I came across a coalition vessel in Omicron Delta named A-72|CPRV-Perun. Captained by Kasatkin who identified as Coalition, for the record he was flying a Corvo. Anyways, after a friendly chat he told me he was in Omicron Iota, and Major, mapping out the system for S.C.E.C.. Now I dont have the faintest Idea as to why the S.C.E.C. would even want a map out of that area but to send a lone ship into those systems is extremely dangerous. If something would have happened to that vessel and we picked up its distress call the lives of our men would have also been put at risk. I hope you can see where I come from. My point here is not ment to chastise or insult, I ask that in the future we can have a more open line of communication so we know when someone is going in, The Order is responsible for maintaining The Omicrons to the best of our ability and we ask you inform us should you try to enter Omicron Iota again. I am sure you have the same expectation of Order vessels entering The Omega 52 and so on. Omicron Iota is a hell hole and the risk of infection upon entering that space is highly likely, We have strict rules set here for the safety of our allies, I do hope you understand where I am coming from. Secondly, I was told the S.C.E.C. is doing Nomadic research also, this concerns me because the Coalition has a lot of enemies and while we here in The Order do not have an issue with who you fight, I would have an issue if this research included weapons and then using them on the populace. We cannot save humanity if others are using Nomadic weapons to their gain. I do hope you can assure me or someone can, that this is not part of your research. RE: To The S.C.E.C High Commissar Alexei Novikov |Secure| - High Commissar Novikov - 10-16-2018 INCOMING TRANSMISSION FROM: High Commissar, Alexey Novikov. RECIPIENT: Dr. Stephen Callahan SOURCE: Mykolaiv Research Station, Omega 52. SUBJECT: -- -- ...encryption code authorized ...loading data Zravstvuyte, Dr. Callahan. Where do I even begin with. First of, I would like to mention that the works of Comrade Kasatkin is based on a [REDACTED] protocol. Since, we partake in various Expeditions, he was sent to map out the Omicrons. Yes, there might have been an issue with sending an escort along the way, but less the heat signatures, less the attention, do not you think, Doctor. And, I am more than sure that the vessels of the Coalition, in general are welcomed in the Omicrons, be it the Army, or be it any types and kinds of Research vessels or, be it by will. If there is a distress call, the 85th battalion squadron will be dispatched, from the Kamchatka, so it's safe to not worry about it. Contribution has been a thing we have been not apart, but a part of the Order. So, it would be delighted to know more about this particular organization of the Order, since the S.C.E.C mainly focuses the deal with the Overwatch. Now, onto the main subject we shed light on. There has been multiple instances where the comrades of the Order, helped not only us, but in general the Republic at times, as well as the Coalition, lending a hand to the Order. The Overwatch is welcomed in the New Moscow system, and if you have a good motive, your vessels are welcomed, as well. If there is a unannounced threat at our doorstep, we deal with fire and fury and those who have escaped from the wrath of the Coalition, never dared to commit the mistake again. I do understand the fact of infection, and I can assure you that our scientists, commanding officers and the agents aboard our research vessels, are more than prepared to deal with the Nomads and their pets, should the need arise. Also, I may have not know who has spread the rumor that us, partaking in Nomadic researches against the general populace, but I will be more than clear that whatever happens within the Corps, stays within the Corps. Science has no boundaries, surely that is, but the Corps's researches are none of other's concern. It would be nice if you would spell the name correctly. Dosvidaniya i Bogini. The Legacy of Orillion Cell puts faith in our allies much like the Overwatch, with that being said, It is our duty to inform you of the dangers of this research and highly encourage you to stop. The Order tries its best to mitigate and prevent research from being used against humanity. If you wont stop your research I ask you keep an open line of communication with us so we may be notified of any security breaches, theft, or contamination so we may be able to assist you. I apologize for spelling your name wrong, the Coalition informant who gave me your name spelled it incorrectly. RE: To The S.C.E.C High Commissar Alexei Novikov |Secure| - Gardarik - 10-17-2018 INCOMING TRANSMISSION TO: Dr. Stephen Callahan FROM: SCEC CRO Mstislav Belov RE: Nomadic Research
Doctor Callahan,
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mstislav Belov, I am the Chief Research Officer of SCEC. I believe,, we already had a brief opportunity to negotiate in omicron Delta. For a while, I was away from the position due to injuries. Now that I am returned, I assume back the post of the CRO and act as the official representative of SCEC. I believe ex officio you are a colleague of mine, a fellow researcher. If so, you must understand that "nomads" present research interest in many fields, including agricultural use of microorganisms like the Kusarians use on their planet Junyo and temporarily occupied planet Kuriles. Nomads are but a mere tool to those smart enough to wield it. And Coalition can boast to have one of the best Academia in the sector. With all due respect to your researchers, Doctor, but we know what we are doing. And for sure it does not involve using bateriological or hybrig weaponry against human populace, Doctor. This said, I can only suggest carrying our a joint research operation for you to ascertain we bear no ill intentions in the Omicrons and for the humanity overall. We recognise the noble goal of the Order in protecting humanity against the alien threat and wound not like to interfere, but merely to provide assistance if possible. However, we don't see the research over them as something off the limits, as the infections are usually cured by the antidotes made of their own cells. Keep this in mind, Doctor. This will eventually benefit you, if you are wise to heed the advice. We are looking forward to hearing from you and hope that our further relations will bring upon only cooperation and understanding. With respect, Dr. Mstislav Belov END OF TRANSMISSION |
