Truth or Consequences - Morosz - 10-20-2018

Apartment B1, Residential Module 082, Niigata Star City, Sigma-59
27th Aug, 825 A.S.
17:00 SMT

Brooks stood at the door of the apartment for almost 10 minutes when he heard a familiar voice. Finally the owner of the apartment arrived. After a quick greeting opened the door and walked into the room. There wasn't much to look at the room. Mostly it was empty with only a small ammount of furniture such as a table with some chairs arround it, a bed on the right side of the door and a small kitchen area on the left with a small door at the left side. Walking to the kitchen area Brooks took a cup and filled it with water slowly sipping it, while Sato the owner sat down at the table. "It has been some time Parker." Sato said that while he lighted a cigarette. "Indeed but not as long as i expected it. But enough with the pleasentries, what do you have?" Brooks slowly walked to the table and also lighted a cigarette while he turned to the window seemingly enjoying the view. "Well for that we need to wait a little bit more. The details are curently on their way here." "And who's the courier? Can i trust him?""I trust him. He's a good kid. Needs a little guidance but he is capable." Brooks turned to the table and extended his hand above the ashtray. The ash sprinkled across the cement when he flicked the filter. He then inhaled deeply, letting the smoke seep into his cells. Turning back towards the window.

Some minutes later the door opens and a young guy walks in with a backpack in his hand. "Hey there boss." The young fella looked on Sato while he moved in and dropped the backpack on the table. "You're late. I think i told you to be here on time." "Sorry boss got caught up with something and.." "I'm not really intrested in excuses. We both know you were with a whore or something. It doesn't matter. Now for the payment you know where to find it." "Of course" With this the young man walked to the wall next to the bed and opened the panel revealing a small box. He quickly opened it and with a satisfied look on his face he took the box and walked out without saying anything. "Hmph..this was unusual. Oh well. Let's see what we have." Brooks turned towards the table and opened the backpack. Inside he found a datapad and keycards along with some clothes for two. He took the datapad and turned it on. It showed a portrait of a man. "So the man is.." Brooks quickly turned it off and looked onto Sato. "Not yet. My new partner will arrive soon. We shall discuss the details later."

The Orca made it's way to the stations landing pad before gently touching down. The engines began to power down as the bright spot light at the ship's nose shut down. A man with short, black hair and a light-grey trench-coat walked down the ramp which extended down from the ship's lower half onto the large landing pad. "Residential Module 082..." he quietly mumbled to himself as he made his way to the large stations transit system connecting the docking areas with the residential modules.
Just a few minutes he arrived at the residential modules and used the guides and signs to make his way straight to the Apartment Bravo 1. He knocked at the door and opened it slowly. "Sorry for being late, I had to get the engine replaced." He quickly muttered as he entered the room, he briefly made eye contact with Sato. "My apologies, I wasn't expecting to meet anyone else in here. The name's Christopher Parker."

RE: Truth or Consequences - Morosz - 11-03-2018

Parker still standing next to the table looked onto Lawrence while lighting a cigarette. "Chris, this is Sato, a friend of mine. Now we don't really have much time so let's get down to business. Catch this." Parker grabbed the datapad and threw it towards lawrence. "So the man on the photo is Mark Webb former Rear Admiral of the Liberty Navy. He became a fugitive after he along with his crew stole an Interdictor class battlecruiser. Altough the curent location of said ship is unknown, it doesn't really matter at this point. Webb later fled liberty and eventually joined the order." "Listen carefully Chris. This guy is a tough one. He served within the 5th fleet of the navy. And the guy served under non other than Admiral O'Neill." "I recently found out that he will be arround Omicron Theta. You're best bet is Freeport 9. Unless i'm wrong. In wich case you can always try Freeport 11." "The job is simple. Find Webb. Establish contact with him, and depending on the situation we'll figure out what to do after that. Make sure you read everything from that datapad. It has all the intell you need about this guy. Also we're gonna go with my ship. A corvo is less suspicous than an orca." Parker closes the backpack and drops it in front of Chris while walking by then walks to one of the metal walls where he quickly removes one of the bigger panels revealing a storage compartment with some crates in them. Parker takes them out revealing them to be weapon's crates. Quickly opening one revealing 2 pairs of aratech pistols. "Hmph...very nice." Parker closes the crate and opens one of the bigger ones. Inside this one there is an Aratech sniper rifle wich he takes out from the crate and closely starts to inspect. "Now this..this is a beauty," He carefully places the rifle back into the crate and quickly closes it. "It costs a lot." "Do you recall me asking for their price? All of theese will come with me. Exept the rocket launchers." "As you wish.." Parker turned towards Chris. "Allright. Chris take theese to the Prometheus. And help HK load some other stuff onto the ship. " Parker opened another crate and took out a wrist computer and gave it to Chris. "Here. I suppose you know how to use theese. You'll be able to contact HK and get the coordinates for the mooring point from him. Go ahead. I'll be there shortly as well."

RE: Truth or Consequences - A1ex - 11-06-2018

"Alright, leave it to me. I'll just need a little extra time since I can't just carry these through the public transit systems." Chris proceeds to pick up the crate and carry them over to the door where he stops to look back at the two, "I'll see you on the ship." He then leaves the room and makes his way towards the stations cargo transport system, which basically was the same as the transit system, just without anyone around. On his way, he carefully avoided most populated areas in an attempt not to raise any suspicion. While he wasn't even sure if he was supposed to make this a stealth delivery to their ship, he always used to live by the principle 'better safe than sorry'. He snuck his way onto one of the cargo-trains and sat down between several large containers, presumably containing supplies for a larger ship. He held up his left wrist and started up the small wrist-computer, Parker gave him earlier in an attempt to contact HK. "If you can read me, I'm sitting on a cargo train heading towards mooring points. Which one is the Prometheus located at currently?"

Back at the ship HK-47 was loading some crates into the cargo bay when he heard the voice of Lawrence coming from his communicator."Statement: The ship is currently at mooring point five, In your place i'd rather hurry meatbag. There's nine more crates that we need to get onto the ship." With his sentence finished HK resumed pushing the crate into the cargo bay, turning arround and walking towards the exit.

Sato's apartment.
As Chris left with the crates in his hands and saying his good byes, Parker walked towards the window once again stopping right in front of it and looking out. "When can i expect my payment?" "What are you talking about? You think i'm going to pay anything to you?" Sato with confusion in his voice asked. "Of couse i do. You owe me remember?!" "Me owing you?! Don't make me laugh. I owe you nothing." Sato angered with Parker's entire attitude during the last half an hour slowly slid his hand under the table trying to grab the gun that was taped to under it. "Ask yourself the question. Who rescued your butt when half of Kusari's underworld was after you? Who got you this apartment to hide from practically everyone. I owe you nothing you dumb fool." Just when Sato's hands reached the gun he also heard somekind of movement from the front. Looking up he saw Parker now turned towards him and holding his gun aiming right at his head. "That would be a really bad idea Sato." Realizing his in a defeated position Sato slowly placed his hands on the table. "Good. And remember, i can always inform the dragons that you're hiding here. I own you Sato. Remember that the next time you try something funny. Now if you excuse me there's an Order agent i need to find." Parker walked to the remaining crates and with his free hand quickly grabbed the one that had the sniper inside, while at the same time he kept aiming and looking at Sato. Eventually reaching the door. "You're gonna regret that some day." "Sayonara Sato" Parked proceeded to open the door and walked out holstering his gun under his long jacket turning left and walking towards the nearest module tranist station.

"Got it, I'll be there in a few minutes." He jumped off the train the second it came to a stop. It took him a few minutes to get there since he was still trying to completely avoid people, but he finally managed to make his way to the fifth mooring point. He looked around the bay for HK, who was still pushing the crates aboard the vessel. "Hey, sorry for the wait. Let's get this stuff loaded up." He quickly gets the cases he's already carrying aboard the ship before get's back to help HK with pushing the other one son board. "Parker's got quite the.. temperament, don't you think?" He wasn't really expecting a response from the droid, but instead was using him as an excuse to think out loud. "But I think that's something you need when with this kind of work..." He chuckled quietly and helped him to get the remainder of the crates into the cargo bay.

RE: Truth or Consequences - Morosz - 11-15-2018

"Statement:Yes. My master has many droid like qualities wich i can't help but respect." The two continued loading the crates. Eventually Parker arrived just as they finished loading up the last crate. He walked through the loading bay and into the cargo hold, cigarette in his mouth and the sniper's crate in his left. He walked to the door controll console and quickly started closing the doors. "Great job, everyone. HK go and prep the ship for launch. Let's get out of here." HK turned arround and quickly left the cargo bay. "Hey Chris. There's a cabin on deck 2. It has your name on it. Go get some rest. The journey ahead of us is long."

RE: Truth or Consequences - A1ex - 11-15-2018

"Good idea, Thanks. I'll be in my cabin if you need me then." He also left the bay and to head further into the ship, he aimlessly wandered around the ship for a couple of minutes before he got to his cabin. He entered his room, closed the door behind him and went straight for the bed. He was still unsure about his situation, but nevertheless tried to get some rest. The next minutes he would just lay in his bed and stare out of the window until he could hear the soft humming of the engines. The ship was finally leaving Niigata as he was watching the station getting smaller and smaller before completely vanishing behind them in the void of space. Only a few seconds after that, he dose off as well.

RE: Truth or Consequences - Morosz - 11-15-2018

The doors slid open as Parker walked into his cabin with the last crate still in his hand. He carefully placed it on his bed then, as he walked out of the room and turned left he heard the engines coming online and saw a short glimpse of Niigata before it disappeared from view as the ship turned away. He made his way to the bridge where he simply sat down into his chair and lighted a cigarette, enjoying the view as HK was piloting the ship. "I guess we are still on course. How long untill we reach the omicrons?" "Statement: A couple of days master. However it would be better if you would specify wich omicron system are you talking about. So i could give you a more accurate number." "Fine fine...Omicron Delta. But hey...you already know where we are heading. You've heard the briefing with Sato, so why asking?" "Answer: It's simple. I just wanted to initiate a conversation, as i had some questions master." Parker rolled his eyes. "Gosh how many times do i have to tell you, you don't have to call me that." "Statement:Oh i know master. I simply do it to give you the illusion of controll. Meatbags often need comforts like this. Untill the end comes." "Whatever. Just ask questions then." HK walked from one console to the other, starting a diagnostic on the sensors. "Querry: Why did you suddendly start trusting other meatbags?" "I don't trust them still. Why asking? Is this because of Chris?" "Answer:Yes master. Considering how your guests usually end up getting shot in the head by you, i felt the need to ask, as this time the individual in question not only survived his first few hours. You gave him a cabin. " "You don't have to worry. He is here because he could be useful for us. Plus i can't just barge into the bar where Webb is and expect him to believe whatever lies i tell him. He'll most likely see through my deception. Thats why i need Chris. For now." Parker dropped the cigarette into the ashtray and got more comfy in his chair. "Wake me up if something happens." The ship continued its road towards the omicrons.
