A Corsair organization known as Custodi has issued a demand to us for the safety of Eureka Station. They want supplies. They also want us to bring artifacts back.

Normally I'd be disinclined to send them anything other than a large bomb, but this may be an opportunity to monitor their development. After all, not only have they permitted our presence, they've demanded it.

I have my own ideas for this of course, but I thought you may have useful input.

The situation in Leeds is dire. The invasion has bogged down there, but has not stopped. They are still pushing toward New London. You know that, I know that.

The Corsairs also know that, and they've been eyeing Cambridge for a long time. In peaceful days, Bretonia could easily hold off the pirate fleets - you have done so. But with the Royalists at the gate, the Corsairs could prove a fatal distraction.

My plan is to send one of my people to handle the deliveries, and monitor the region for signs of military buildup. And then direct the information to co-aligned third-parties that can correct the problem.

I'm sure you won't think I'm being altruistic here, and I'm not. Should the worst come to pass and New London falls, we lose a valued business partner and bulwark against the Gallic invasion.
