RE: [Official Event] Operation Cathedral - Durandal - 11-04-2018

I don't have a problem with people being hired. I do have a problem with allies coming in for the sake of being allies and throwing literally everything against the Outcasts since they have no friends with warships in the area.

tl;dr: Mercs should be fine, Gallia & Kusari getting involved is not.

RE: [Official Event] Operation Cathedral - Thunderer - 11-04-2018

Imagine it is a standard POB siege and only the mentioned IDs were named in the siege declaration post.

RE: [Official Event] Operation Cathedral - Kalhmera - 11-05-2018

What about the Coalition?
While I understand it is not okay for them to Engage the base, I find it a bit silly to not allow them to assist in defending an allied factions base in a System that they could normally fight in.

Does this mean noone Is allowed to engage Outcasts or CR in the Tau's anymore but themselves? If So then that is taking away quite an opportunity to get activity for a few factions

Coalition involvement in this event is a logistical impossibility at this time. Please do not speak on our behalf.

Then you could put Freelancer and Bounty Hunter ID as eligible IDs in this event...

RE: [Official Event] Operation Cathedral - Thyrzul - 11-05-2018

Or you could chose either of the already eligible ones...

This. There is no need for this to become an everyone and their mom event.

RE: [Official Event] Operation Cathedral - Skorak - 11-05-2018

These are the relevant, major parties. No one else will be mentioned as "part of the event".

It's that simple. It's a Fleet battle between the two that's "dragged out" to be more accessible and fun. There would be no ton of allies on standby either way.

RE: [Official Event] Operation Cathedral - Lythrilux - 11-05-2018

Why is it with these kind events people always ignore the OP and try to find ways to force their own factions (and characters) into it even though they have no place there? The entire point of this event is to construct an emerging narrative with the factions invovlrd, and also give those factions much needed activity. It's not for you to force in your Coalition/Merc/Sonic characters. Pick up and OC or CR. Join the official factions even. It'll add some longevity.

'do-alls' and 'be-alls' are killing the mod.
