Valued allies and business partners, I've been authorized by AP Manufacturing and the Core to present an opportunity to you that could benefit all parties involved. Recently, APM has been undertaking extensive research and development operations in regards to the collection, refinement, and storage of both Iridium Ore and Azurite Gas. As many of you may already know, Iridium is vital in the construction of high efficiency reactors and antimatter technologies, and Azurite Gas is an unparalleled conduit for energy storage and transfer, maximizing power efficiency in both standard and hybrid systems.

These two resources present unique challenges in their collection. To this end, prototype equipment has been developed at Invicta Research Complex specifically for these applications. We have run preliminary tests and collected initial data samples utilizing these prototypes, but final design and implementation procedures demand extensive testing from outside, possibly more qualified and experienced sources.

For the purposes of completing these prototypes and creating a finalized design, AP Manufacturing is offering a handful of these prototypes to our close business partners at no up-front cost. In exchange, we require only that you forward all data accumulated from the testing of these prototypes to Invicta Research Complex in order to finalize the products.

The Variable-Focus Mining Array is a vast improvement on the model CMT-221 standard laser emitters, which currently see widespread use throughout dozens of corporations, organizations, and mining conglomerates across Sirius. AP Manufacturing's Variable-Focus Mining Array is more adaptable to the resources being extracted, and once extensive scans and surveys of a particular mining area are completed the arrays may be loaded with parameters unique to the area and resources involved, increasing mining efficiency by roughly 25%. Currently, the prototype mining arrays we're offering are only programmed with parameters exclusively for the extraction of Iridium in the Omicron Lost system. Once we have your data, and the prototype can be properly finalized and slated for mass production, APM would able to acquire and market parameters for a variety of resources and locations, and your companies would be among the first to receive these improvements.

The Azurite Gas Collector functions in tandem with the Variable-Focus Mining Array, again loaded specifically with parameters for the extraction of Azurite Gas, and allows a vessel to more efficiently and safely collect - and store - the substance. Coupled with our prototype arrays, AP Manufacturing's Azurite Gas Collectors boost overall operational efficiency by roughly 25%.

We at APM look forward to your inclusion in project Copiam, and to the future business opportunities your participation may entail.

=DSE- would be VERY interested in being part of your development programme. How would you like us to be involved?

We would like to proffer the concept of building docking rings, trade lanes and Jump gates from Sigma 15 JH to Omicron Rho. Would you give this some consideration and let us know so we may put in a formal proposal? We are after all the foremost deep space engineering experts in all of Sirius.

SUBJECT: Enquiries
TO: Damien Mekal

New York, Liberty Space

Greetings,

Doe Industries are quite happy to accommodate our friends in the Omicrons. While I see our esteems colleagues in our other branch have offered their services, two independent trial runs in the various applications I believe will significantly increase the data available for analysis. We have a number of various craft we can send to Rho for capacity testing and am happy to oblige Mr Veltman in accommodating your request.

Once we have established a plan, I'll begin assigning our R&D wing to Rho.

Kind Regards,
Special Operations Manager
Michael Zhang

The timely response is appreciated. We'll have prototypes waiting at Alabama Shipyard, please send your vessels there for upgrades to be installed.

Once you have the new equipment onboard, we'll need you to provide evidence of mining operations for both Iridium and Azurite. The Iridium fields are located in Sector 4-G of Omicron Lost. The Azurite Reactor is located in 3-F of Omicron Delta. If you require security detail for these operations, please contact our armed associates in the Core. APM Transport craft may also be provided for ferrying collected resources. Logs of mining operations may be relayed here, and I will forward the information to project Copiam.

Please use the following form for data logs:

Code:
[list]
[*]Organization of Vessel:
[*]Vessel Type/Subtype:
[*]Number of Mining Arrays Installed:
[*]Empty Cargo Space:
[*]Time needed to fill Cargo:
[*]Extrapolated Resource collection per hour:
[/list]

Mr. Veltman, I will forward your proposal for a lane/gate network in Omicron Rho to my superiors. We could certainly use better infrastructure, but I am not personally authorized to give you the go-ahead just yet.

We are on our way! There has been a winding down of the operation in Texas, now that the Premium Scrap field has been fully exhausted. As of now, the ships, two -=DSE- Rhino's and two =DSE- Baltimore shipyard constructed Mastadons are in transit and negotiating Frankfurt.

ETA is approximately six earth hours. Once tests are completed we will be able to give firm indications of results, complete with variables etc.

In relation to creating trade lanes we will be in touch with you to discuss matters once the preliminary tests are complete. We have, at our disposal, the decommissioned and mothballed Veltman Smelter. This is available as a forward base of operation both for mining and trade lane purposes.

Kind Regards,

Steve Veltman CEO of =DSE-

Associate.

The mining ship =DSE-Texas arrived as stated on time and immediately got to work. This was using standard light mining laser CMT 221 Crusher. Initial efforts were to do test mining on each ore. Five batch samples of 10 shots with the mining lasers on each of the Iridium ore and the Azurite. In total 50 shots each commodity. Iridium ore netted 2.28 units per shot. Azurite 2.19 units per shot. This appears to be quite a mediocre yield.

We could not locate any iridium ore in Omicron Lost, but we did locate iridium ore close to the same section in Delta as the Azurite site.

We are yet to be supplied the newly advanced APM mining arrays. Can you tell me where they can be fitted?
  • Organization of Vessel: =DSE-
  • Vessel Type/Subtype: Rhino Freighter decked out in a mining rig.
  • Number of Mining Arrays Installed: Four conventional mining lasers.
  • Empty Cargo Space: 550
  • Time needed to fill Cargo: 7 minutes for Azurite and 8 minutes for iridium ore. (approx)
  • Extrapolated Resource collection per hour: To be advised once a further investigation is completed.

Kind Regards,

Steve Veltman CEO of =DSE-
