To: The Core High Command -|- Subject: Inquiry regarding [*USI*] and Azurite Gas - Kaiserliche Polizei Rheinlands - 11-27-2018 PRIORITY: Medium ENCRYPTION: Medium IDENTIFICATION: Kommissar Christiane Laurich SOURCE: Nibelung Polizei Plaza, Planet New Berlin SUBJECT: Inquiry regarding [*USI*] and Azurite Gas Guten Tag, Sehr geehrte members of the The Core High Command. My name is Christiane Laurich and I am kommissar of the administrative department of the Rheinland Federal Polizei.
I am contacting you today with inquiry regarding the Universal Shipping corporation and their primary division. Recently, we received their request for Restricted Cargo License for transportation of the Azurite Gas through Rheinland and when asked about detailed information, they stated that they procure the gas exclusively from the Core and its modular base Invicta Research Complex in Omicron Rho where the cargo is transferred to their transports. However, during the security and safety check which is part of processing of the request, we found out certain disrepancy. When checking the publicly available The Laws of The Core, we noticed that the Azurite Gas is listed in the section 3.0 as contraband and the [*USI*] is not included in the paragraph 3.3. between groups that have contraband permits. Thus we would like to ask for information whether the [*USI*] is allowed to transport legally the mentioned cargo in Core´s territory or not. Also, if they are and this is just some misunderstanding, we would like to ask for short summary of your experience with the [*USI*] pilots and their way of work, primarily when it comes to safety and security. Basically, we are checking if their personnel is known to act responsibly and safely, thus can be entrusted with transportation of restricted cargo which in the wrong hands could be abused potentially. Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Kommissar Laurich END OF THE MESSAGE RE: To: The Core High Command -|- Subject: Inquiry regarding [*USI*] and Azurite Gas - Implosion - 11-27-2018 Incoming Video Feed Source: APM Flagship Sagittarius, Omicron Rho Comm ID: Jack Daniels Encryption: B.S.S. It appears someone forgot to add USI to the list of people who are allowed to transport Azurite. Either way, my engineers have made sure their transports are up for the task. We've made all the required, albeit very minor, retrofits to their transports, thus enabling them to transports hazmats safely. Furthermore, their captains have all passed safety briefings and we even ran background checks on them. That being said, both the vessels and their commanding officers are 100% capable of transporting Azurite without endangering local population and/or infrastructure. I'll personally make sure the outdated section in our laws gets updated to properly reflect that. If you have any other questions, I'll be more than glad to answer them. Daniels, out. ~Yours Truly, Jack Daniels, Acting Director of APM and STILL the most hated person in the Omicrons.
