Greetings Sir.
My name is Red ... yes that's my name ... Red! Nothing more! Your reputattionprecedes you! You are known for being a fair man .. a good man ... despite .. well !! About six years ago, you may remember the Corsair invaded Gran Canaria. many ignored ... some were happy and others fought back!!!! Some say that you welcomed then in your bar ... i don't know that is true ... just rumors you know!! I was one that fought then ... one that killed and saw friends falling!! We won! The corsair ships may be very good in space, but most of the troops on the ground were simple conscripts. We didn't expected then and we weren't ready, but ... our will to fight was huge, and some lead us to fight!! We have not any hard feelings for the Corsair .. what is pass it is pass!! Both sides lost too much!! But two things changed since that ... one is the weather!! it is getting colder each year, and the second ... we are prepared for war. I must confess i was expecting to be the garlics ... i'm sorry ... the gallics but even so . we are prepared to fight!! In this years tons of military equippment was brought to Gran Canaria .. from hand weapons, to trucks and even some tanks, to explosives and even robotics ... insted a tool we give then a weapon and program then, they are great for ambush! And most of all ... many of us were trained to fight!! Mistakes are made against the Corsairs, but we learned from that mistakes!!
Now about politics ... Bretonia is fighting a war, and they are losing, and now they come here to make more enemies? What are they thinking? Sir ... we aprove your meeting ... i or any of my group will not attend it ... we are not politicians! Also have you noticed the groups that accept your invitation? Some of then are at war with each others. Two days ago i was in space in a trader ship and saw a bretonian bomber ... the pilot a commander ... her mood to me was from being rude to pathetic!! What probably made her "calm down" was the two coalition ships, and two hessian ships and a Zoner battleship. So if they come here to treat us after happening what happened in Leeds and New London ... Sir ... i wish you luck with your guests and the bretonian goverment. But while you all be talking, we will be preparing for war, because we are tired of all this!

I know of the militias on the planet. There are many like them on planet Erie as well. I largely leave them be as they are local people. THEY know the terrain of our home world and how to survive on it. THEY have adapted to it. THEY handle adversity better than anyone here. I have much respect for them.
As to my summit, well, if we do nothing, we could well end up another Bretonian colony or even a Gallic colony. I know you do not want that as I do not either. Even if the summit that I will hold within my home fails, well, we gave peace a chance. Every ounce of my being says that we must try.
That said, I have no idea where you and it is just as well that I do not. I do not want you all to be without so you provide me with some coordinates in remote areas and I will make sure that you get regular drops of food, water, medicine and equipment and if need be, I will see to it that the injured are evacuated out to Canaria Medical. It is the least that I can do to help you.

For the last 5 years we are been preparing for something like this! We have all we need on the ground! Our personel has received all training!! despite bretonia lost most of the best marines and the reamiains are protecting new london, we know very well in the case of an invasion, will send very god troops, not like the conscripts that we faced long ago, but we also are more prepared!! if bretonia comes ... we will give then hell!
Again about your summit ... when some of your guests replied to you then didn't made a secure connection, so we know who are they, and those we don't ... everytime someone sends a message to a zoner base, their message is relay by all zoner bases on the way, so ... we may not know what they say or even who sent then, but we have an idea the region were the sender is!! I really whish you luck, because you will sit on the same table people that are enemies of each other. But also there is a thing that concern us ... why those people want to help us? To protect zoners? Some even already shot zoners and not that long ago!! Why they want so badly to defend Gran Canaria?!! Good will or ... they are waiting for some concessions on the planet? Will history repeat iself, and what happed on planet Erie will happen again here?
