Ageira Innovations - Deep Space Engineering - Deep Space Engineering - 04-03-2014

Greetings,
  • I've seen your division crop up in the Industrial Weekly and as is such with anything Ageira related, I took a keen interest.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am John Doe and am in charge of Deep Space Engineering. Undoubtedly you know who we are and what we do so I'll skip the lesson.

Basically, I'd like to get to know your division and understand where in the big picture you and your colleagues sit. Ageira is pretty large, after all, so I'd be very interested in your expertise.

    Regards,

John Doe
President
Deep Space Engineering

Dear Mr. Doe,

I am Anthony Hall, currently appointed as manager of Jump Gate and Trade Lane Network and responsible for it's reliability around Sirius. It's a pleasure to hear from you. Now, to matters at hand.

Ageira Innovations has been working in R&D department, but ever since Ageira's president stepped down, the budget cuts hit our branch and most of our projects were abandoned. In recent times, we had to allocate funds to purchase transport in order to export our products beyond Liberty borders so that profits could cover our usual line of work.

Recently, Ageira Innovations and subcontractors delivered massive amount of Light Arms to Bretonia in order to support the ongoing war against Gallia as well as supress domestic crime. It was major success and we gathered required money to continue research on next generation Light Arms.

If your curiosity is satisfacted, how may Ageira Innovations be of service?

Yours sincerely,
Anthony Hall,
Ageira Innovations

Greetings Mr Hall,
  • I can appreciate the strain a financial set back such as one you're suffering now can have on a companies impact in its specialized fields, with not only domestic set backs but also foreign incidents, leading to a decrease in that profit margin that we all endear.

As it stands, I believe there is an opportunity for your division to expand in your company's portfolio as we currently are having difficulties with sustaining our R&D department with staff with the clearances to develop technology in the jumpgate industry. This void, I believe, could easily be filled with your company's expertise and experience in top end jump technology.

Currently we're in need of specialized gate technology from Pueblo Station, and an increase in production would see that our deadlines are met and our construction can continue in good time.

Is Ageira Innovations interested in taking over this crucial part of the single greatest industrial project Liberty, or even Sirius, has seen since the mid Seven Hundreds?

    Regards,

John Doe
President
Deep Space Engineering

To: John Doe, Deep Space Engineering

Dear President Doe,

My name is Sebastian Hart, Director of Ageira Innovations' Research and Development Department. We have managed to complete over 50% of the requested deliveries of Gate Parts from Pueblo Station to Camrose Supply Depot. I've been told that Depot's storage is nearly full, so we will lower priority of our deliveries for the time being. I believe your engineers could start assembly of new Supergate modules and slowly transport them to Leduc Station for quality checks and inspection, before being incorporated into the Supergate structure. I also believe it is high time for us to start over where our predecessors left. Recently, our Research and Development department finished several smaller projects, so we have free resources we could dedicate to Cold Lake Project itself.

Yours faithfully,
Sebastian Hart,
Director of R&D Department,
Ageira Innovations

From the Desk of Mr. Walter Park

Mr. Hart:

My name is Walter Park, Head of R&D at DSE. As Mr. Doe has been off vacationing, I have been assigned to handle correspondence regarding the Cold Lake Project - at least for the time being. Always a pleasure to collaborate directly with Ageira. The Logistics and Engineering have been informed to deploy all crews with the necessary clearance to Alberta. They have already been fully briefed and are expected to arrive shortly.

Concerning the contribution of your own resources, it would be most appreciated. No doubt you are aware that our staff have been facing a mobilization effort unprecedented in recent time due to the unfortunate loss of assets in Hudson, Bering, Hamburg, Leeds, and New London - largely without undergoing proper deconstruction protocols. Due to their proximity to high population areas, recovery, cleanup, and spatial assessment have been high priorities.

Regardless, progress on the Cold Lake Project remains on-track and recent events have not warranted the adjustment of our current projections.

Regards,
Walter Park
Head of Research and Development
Deep Space Engineering

To: Walter Park, Deep Space Engineering

Dear Mr Park,

It is good to hear that the resources devoted to this project were not limited due to loss of jump gates and lane infrastructure in the systems plagued by war. However, Cold Lake Supergate will be the largest jump gate ever constructed and the energy required to bend the space and fold a stable wormhole tunnel will be of disastrous proportions. While Alberta is not a densely populated system, certainly less than let's say Texas, and we can easily organize evacuation of the nearby Freeport on time, we cannot really allow ourselves to have another incident here. For this reason we would like to get access to all classified files on Cold Lake Project, as it will allow us to formulate concrete strategies for our Research and Development Department, and hopefully contribute to the safety and efficiency of the project itself.

Yours faithfully,
Sebastian Hart,
Ageira Innovations
