As you probably already know, conisdering your reputation as the best informed people in the sector, the Armee, in the wage of the Altenburg fleets retreat, has recently gained almost full control over the Dresden system.
While the Armee has quite some experience in engineering military hardware our know how of civilian infrastructure is low to say the least. Rebuilding or repairing the tradlane network therefore is not within our abilities, wich is the reason I contact you now.
If anyone is able to rebuild Ageira technology it is you.
If your group is interested in this job we will be happy to pay good money or should you so desire other things.

Guten Tag.

Firstly we would like to congratulate the Red Hessians for the total capture of Dresden system. This great development can allow you to freely strike into the heart of the Bundesrepublik which will result in its final, total collapse. As for your request I must firstly correct you on your statement. The only civilian company, except Ageira, which has the know-how and ability to repair, assemble and configure trade lanes and jump gates is the DSE.

Now, to the heart of your message.

As you may well know there is one factory in Sirius which produces parts of trade lanes and jump gates. That is in Pueblo Station and each part that is constructed, is immediately placed into their famous White Boxes before being unpacked into an Interspace station located in the capital system of each House. Furthermore, Ageira purposely makes thousands of different parts each one serving its own purpose and configuration so even if some happen to fall in one's hands they'll be random and probably incompatible with the others. That is of course if we get our hands into the contents of a White Box... we have developed a methodology to crack them open but since we're dealing with quantum mechanics our fail ratio is too great for it to be an effective method; most attempts result in the self-destruction of the White Box and its content. The few ones we safely unlock are immediately taken by our R&D for reverse-engineering and research since it is vital for our survival to monitor Ageira's upgrades.

So unless you're planning on defeating Ageira's private army and capturing Pueblo Station, there is not much that we can do. Oh and did I mention the costs? Houses built their networks for centuries, and some almost went bankrupt due to the huge costs involved. So on top of the other issues, the funding is another huge problem. Everyone loves socialism, I know, until of course you run out of money.

Subsequently I was about to kindly turn down your request until Professor Yoshida informed me about a feasible counter-proposal we have.

Dresden's trade lane network has suffered a lot from warfare and lack of maintenance. We know for a fact that most rings have been destroyed. What we can do however is to pick all the rings that work, move them to a place of your choosing and re-configure them again. This would allow the Hessians to have a small network of their own. Over the months we can provide some patchy solutions in regards to maintenance but without the real Ageira parts, the trade lanes are expected to eventually break down. Of course if the Volksrevolution prioritizes the capture of Stuttgart or Omega-7 system, we can secure an abundance of parts which can keep your network in a working condition for a significantly longer period.

That's our idea and counter-proposal, which might not be as enormous as your initial request but it is still a very big and draining work. If the Spezialoperationsabteilung agrees, we can proceed with the specifics.
