Four years ago I wouldn't have even thought there'd be twenty players around, let alone a hundred still for major events.
You're a great community and it's a pleasure to still find this game dynamic, fun, ever-changing, actually better moderated and administrated with time, and with ever-increasing gameplay loops.
RP quality is still very high.
With content like Librelancer coming online, we have a genuine shot of making this community FL-independent.
Developers are pushing boundaries with the integration of more animated textures and better FX and model qualities despite having day jobs. They're also valuing community contributions.
Admins have done wonderful things with faster, more community-driven event processing, meaningful interaction interplay with the dev team, and more credit sinks.
As the average age of the playerbase matures into their 20s and 30s, everyone seems to be a bit nicer towards one another. It goes a long way.
Merry Christmas to you all and thanks for making Discovery one of the best old gaming communities out there. I've been in a lot.
