"straight" nose, looks like the end of a falchion or machete, much more aggressive IMO.
The 'droopy' nose doesnt look -bad-, i just dont think it looks 'liberty'. It would fit much better on a gaian/bretonian or kusari ship.

Perhaps I was a bit harsh with my original critique, but the outcome speaks for itself when you look at the model. One fits the current style as laid out by the Overlord, one doesn't.

might look even more aggressive but I've always hated ships where the front of the hull sweeps up and blocks what would typically be the bridge/cockpit. Sure it doesnt impact game mechanics but realistically it's a terrible design because you're inhibiting the view of the pilot.
