As we have entered a state of war with the Kingdom of Bretonia, we now find ourselves fighting in the same war on the same side. While we have had our differences in the past and will likely continue to after this conflict regardless of its conclusion, we have also always had mutual allies in organizations like the Bundschuh and the IMG. Our enmity has always been more practical than it was ideological.

The flagship of ALG Security Division, the battlecruiser Erdbeben, which I am currently captaining, as well as Security Division's entire Beta Squadron, is currently stationed on Aland Shipyard and I anticipate it will find itself in combat imminently. As such, we will likely be fighting alongside in the near future. So we are making a simple proposal, that we fight the common foe together, and refrain from hostilities within Rheinland for the time being. Nothing more, nothing less.

No need for lengthy explanations, as you know Aland has fallen. I suggest we continue cooperation on the Bretonian front. I would also suggest that we consider a more substantial agreement in regards to our Rheinland operations. I am requesting talks in regards to the future of the Guild, our own organization, and our relationship towards you.

It's past time to refresh this conversation, I think. From the last briefing that Ms Atzenbruck gave me, it seems our conversation was at least somewhat fruitful.
We're now under siege politically and may be forced to fully commit to fight the Monarchist despots. We are watching the developments in Cologne closely, although we aren't invested in the security of the Bounty Hunter station, the future of the system is obviously of great importance to us and the anti-Imperial cause in general.
I am requesting further information on your objectives and to discuss if we can find an overlap that will be productive.

I'm still evaluating the reports I got from Cologne. I had given orders for Beta and Gamma squadrons not to instigate hostilities, I don't believe any shots were fired, and at the very least the developments in the system are denying the monarchists any foothold in the area.

But to be clear, this isn't an acceptable state of affairs. Whoever these squatters are that are currently urinating upon our refinery, they are not going to be capable of safely and efficiently operating a chemical plant.

We'll try to use what influence we have with the currently accumulating democratic forces working on a counter-state to improve your position; it has always been our view that if things were ever to get this bad, the new Rheinland state would have to include some sort of accomodation with the Hessian movement.

But we will also need some assurances from your side. Our workers would be happy to return to work under a Hessian-controlled station, it's certainly far better than an Imperial prison, but we need those occupants out of our refinery, and we need some serious, concrete plans.
Although they're far more spread out, we strongly suspect the monarchists outnumber or at the very least equal our overall strength. So we absolutely cannot afford any internal strife as long as they are a factor.

You're giving me something to work with here, at least, although I still believe there are more in-depth strategic conversations we will need to have.

I'll have an engineering team sent back to Wuppertal to examine the situation and prepare to restart MOX production. And I'd like to have the administrative staff returned to Furthafen Depot; the station's primary purpose, providing construction materials and reactors to colonists, is something you seem to have a general interest in, although given the situation guaranteeing a steady stream of imports is going to be a little difficult.
I don't even know where that personnel is, I'm assuming they're still planetside somewhere but we haven't had contact from them yet.
This may be a good time to mention that we've been on a multi-year long term prospecting project on the planet for which we have hired the Independent Miners Guild, and we've gotten a lot of positive data already. The original contract was for 24 months, pending extension, and has been extended for an additional 24, which are by sheer coincidence ending this very week.
We've pursued this to muscle Kruger and Daumann competition off the planet, something your actions have probably made a lot easier, so that's something we should be pursuing further immediately.

Meanwhile, we will focus on fighting the monarchists in the northeast. Until the provisional democratic bureaucrats manage to proclaim the creation of their state, we're a little limited on what we can lobby for, but I'll see what we can pull behind the scenes.
