Esteemed allies,

with recent developments in the Tau theater, especially the Crayter-IMG conflict, the Council thought a general course of action might be in order. Usually, the Council would enjoy the opportunity of working towards removing the last obstacle in the unimpeded trade of Cardamine and workers between Liberty and Malta, which would be the IMG. However, given the Lane Hacker's response to the Crayterians, we feel as though we need to coordinate as to not contradict each other.

The Council is very much interested in removing the IMG from the Taus in order to establish the most stable of conditions for our trade and further undermine Liberty. As such, we would very much like to abuse the Crayter betrayal as much as we can. The Council would very much enjoy hearing your thoughts.

Konbanwa, esteemed allies.

We were a bit surprised to see such a fast reaction of the National Council regarding one of the most recent messes in Sirius. We took our time to consider our own steps regarding this, taking into account our own, relatively calm past with the IMG and what groups are getting involved into this mess. Perhaps it was a good move that we waited a few hours, given the Crayter Goverment declared the outbreak of a war as false and the people behind it as traitors.
We suppose we cannot expect any for Malta positive involvement regarding the IMG installations by the Crayter Republic. We give you to think that the fear of a war between IMG and the Crayter Republic surely lowered the trust between those two groups, starting an offensive against the IMG now, may as well lead to the Crayter Republic mobilizing troops as a sign of loyalty towards the ally they "almost accidently" had a war with.

Given the current situation and the pace the overall situation could change, we would advise you to wait a bit longer. Once the right time has come, you could approach us with a proper plan and we will decide then in what ways we will assist you or not.

Thank you for your attention.
- Agent "Chanai", on behalf of the Golden Chrysanthemums.

Don Contari, Agent Chanai.

The Guild was never a large problem in the trade between Liberty and Malta. Their disruptions were mostly retaliation against the attacks these miners suffered over the years. The real threat, was and still remains being the micro-state of Crayter which if we aid and allow to take over IMG's assets in the upper Taus it will grow stronger and more powerful than ever before. They might enjoy neutral relations with the Orange Alliance members at this moment, but considering their warlike and treacherous nature, it would be a folly to believe they will continue their current policy and not engage in renewed warfare when they feel the time is right.

Thus, by aiding in the elimination of a mostly peaceful mining entity we would plant the seeds for a much more troublesome enemy in the near future. We believe that the state of war between CR and IMG should be preserved for as long as possible.

However if all our partners in the Orange Alliance believe in a different course of action, then we will abandon our current approach in order to avoid contradicting one another.

ADDENDUM: It appears that the latest announcement by the Crayterian government has resolved the matter already.

This development does change a few things. Very well, with this in mind, it seems cleverer to leave the miners as they are. Ideally, the Crayter dissidents and the miners are occupied with one another and thus allow us an easier trade route to Liberty as it is already. We should watch the situation unfold and intervene only when our own interests are menaced.
