Ship/Character moved to Frankfurt - Fhoxi - 03-12-2019

Hey all,

I was just wondering why my character got moved. I haven't logged into a character of mine for a while and it was one I started in Gallia, When I logged in now after a few months the character is suddenly in Frankfurt nor did I ever explore or fly out of Gallia as I use this character to trade in Gallia. Was the base or system maybe removed that the ship was docked on or does anyone know why else the character would have been moved and any chances of maybe getting it moved back to Gallia?

Hope someone can tell me or help me with this.

Thanks.

In very very rare occasions it is possible that an duplicate account key is given by the launcher resulting in an unknown player having the exact same account and ships on it as you would have as original owner. In over an decade of playing fl and disco mod this has happend once to me personally. Sadly on a account and ship i was no longer using anyway so i let it go, as such i am unable to explain how to proceed from here to you but guess contact to the game masters will get you started and sorted. Friendly regards from,

Erik Kieber

Yes and no. The chances of you getting a duplicate are astronomically low.
Lest I am mistaken, the chances of getting a duplicate are 1 in 340,282,366,920,938,463,463,374,607,431,768,211,456 (0.00000000000000000000000000000000000029387358770557188% chance). Even in the event that you did get a duplicate, it would just stop you from logging in as FL.

In this case, I'm fairly sure the person was docked on a base that was recycled.

Yes you are right that the chances are just crazy low but the fact it happend to me once showed that it still is an possibility and by his way of explaining it reminded me too that experience. Did not claim it was what happened to this player but merely that it could have been so. Glad to see it got all sorted tho Smile

friendly regards from,
Erik

Yes I most like was docked on a base that got recycled, since I was offline for a quite a while and recently started playing again.

Thank you all for help and advice. Will surely enjoy the game again @Erik-Kieber
