Greetings honorable members of the Junker Congress

Third Capitain under JhC's patronnage, it has come to us that Junker in general and your organisation in particular would be quite suited for the kind of activity we have develloped. You probably don't know us, so on the top of the data that you'll find here, let me give you a quick idea of who we are : Traders. We pride ourselves to act and do business according to a certain ethic coming with the job. Flying large transports, we mostly rely on diplomacy, good relations, discretion, Godspeed and decent experience on those vessels. Knowing the importance of low and clean profile when dealing in controlled space, we, on the ther hand do not let regulations being the limit of our reach.

The ship I have been assigned is a freshly acquired Slave Liner. She is going by the name of JhC_Ithaque and we of course fly her under Junker ID and IFF. We had this vessel in mind for quite some times, giving the several advantages its design has when it comes to both resistance under ennemy fire and hull size. I am proud to fly this majestuous bird and proud to fly it under the Junker banner. We realize Junkers are major players on all kind of trade routes and have a central role in shadowed economy.

This is why we hereby apply to become members of the Junker Congress, fully understanding that once done, if done, the JhC_Ithaque and myself will run under Congress rules and Congress rules only. Our sponsor within your rank is Captain Finnegan, who is aware of my opening to you.

Ahoy there. I am Tycus Dekker. I have finally decided to send my application through to the Junkers Congress. I hope it finds you all in good health and a heavy purse. This decision has been a long time coming, believe me. I have heard that you lot are the people to go to if one wants to get ahead in the Junkers' way of life.

Being a hard working independent Junker, like myself, can get extremely taxing. If not painfully boring at times. No back up against pirates, no protection from bounties placed on our heads due to the actions of some other lone Junker, no respect from the house factions even though we are the ones who clean up after them, I could just go on and on.

As I do not have a sponsor at the moment, I was hoping if one of you might take the time to perhaps teach me what is required of a proper Junker. I have made my way, saving a little here and there, and have been able to build up my own Salvage Frigate. I also own a Zoner Conference Gunboat, with required consent, and also a Junker Recycler bomber. I am happy to use these against our enemies although I am only allowed to use the Gunboat to escort and to defend our bases.

I would also be extremely appreciative to learn all I can about mining scrap, profitable trade routes, piloting skills and the proper conduct of a member of the Junkers Congress. I believe fully in what your group stands for. Junkers need to be respected and the only way to gain that is to earn it.

Please let me know if there is anyway I can gain sponsorship. I would be happy to help the Junkers Congress in anyway I can. Within reason of course.

Greetings, Congressmen. My name is Tycho Bradbury, though I tend to go by the name of Dio for short. I'm writing to you because I have an interest in joining the Junker Congress.

I'm a Junker born and raised. My entire life has been led on one ship or another, seeing the sights and making a living wherever it is to be made.

I was born on a Pilgrim to two honest Junker parents like yourselves. I was raised to value a life beholden to no particular authority - only the shared obligation to a common root, to a common kin.

When I could tell the difference between a capacitor and an air scrubber, and could service a vehicle and a crew of my own, I set about to earn my own wings on board the Fortuna - a vessel which I have come to see as both my home and my way of life.

Since then, I have sailed the cosmos, searching for prospects and sights worth seeing. In that time, I've done my fair share of smuggling, legitimate trading, and even extortion when I could get away with it. My travels have taken me to wonderous places with new experiences; I've made drinks from the ice crystals of Taormina in Omicron Eta and roasted marshmellows in the fires of Omega 11's Red giant. This isn't to say that everything has been only peachy - far from it. During my time flying under my own whims, I have seen a galaxy of hatred towards us, the Junkers.

It seems that we who support the citizenry quietly from below are subject to condescension and hatred for the mere reason of being bound by a common blood. The persecution has gotten to the point that we junkers are not only united by our unbound living, but a common burden of unjustified hatred.

I am writing to you because of my blood obligation to others of my shared heritage. Too often have I been on the receiving end of the help of my bretheren when the going got tough - not enough have I been able to repay the kindness.

I am writing to you because I no longer wish to fly for my own benefit, but for the benefit of us all. I wish to become an instrument of the Congress, a discreet mover of vital supplies, a mouthpiece for words that must not be squelched, a hidden dagger for the hearts of those who would seek to harm us.

If you would have me, I wish to serve and protect the birthright that has protected me for so long.
