Uncut Diamond Mining - Lt.DAN - 03-27-2019
Hello all, I made a Daumann restart to start my new mining career, did everything the wiki for this said for the Uncut Diamond bonus (ID,Ship, getting 0 (zero) bonus to Uncut Diamond mining with my 288-ARKM-B20 "Kaiser" Rheinland Mining Ship. I am running only the 4 heavy mining lasers on HPs the wiki site said. Time is profits to my crew so be mean, be nice, I don't care just please enlighten me as to what I am doing wrong before I have a mutiny!

join The Kruger faction..then yah get a good bonus. put yer mining cannons on slots 5,6,7,8 ..

The Wiki mining guide is exactly the same. Just a different layout. A Daumann with a Kaiser should work in the same way as an official Kruger does. Just your Mining turret set up is different. At the mining guides it#s 2, 3, 4, 5. Does it make any difference?

Ok. Just tested the field with my indie Daumann ID Kaiser. Works fine. As it should be for a Daumann. The only difference is. I use full mining turrets which shoudn't make any difference i guess. 4 turrets are at the mentioned slots are enough. Don't know where the problem at your end is. You use a Kaiser with Daumann ID and the mining turrets? Should work. Did you mine in the mining area? Dumb question. I know.

perhaps your not close enough to the mining field buoy thingy.. I am not sure if the slots make a diff.. I do not think so.. I probly got the numbers wrong, the guide is the boss.
The diamond filed does "seem" to mine slower than say silver.. that may be just my own perceptions , as I have not actually measured it..

Update: New player mistake, I was mining a just lava field in Omega 2 by the Omega 7 jump hole, I was not in the mining field. Hope this helps someone else that may have made the same mistake. Thanks for time folks.
