Two new polls conducted on the NeuralNet were released last night, both of them after the invasion of Honshu system. These polls both show that the Rheinlanders by 58% now support a peace treaty with both Kusari and GMG. This is a staggering change compared to previous results.

More importantly in the these two polls Rheinlanders are against the invasion of Honshu system by 76% and government approval rate has fallen to the historically low level of 27%! Furthermore, Direktor Geoff Enfield of the BDM is now ranked as the most reliable official with 34% while the CEOs of Republican Shipping and Daumann are the least reliable. In the question about how the war affected their economic welfare 89% answered that they are now worse than before the war and 72% estimates that the Bundesrepublik will be more destabilized after the war. I think the economic factor is particularly worrisome considering that the economy is already weak and further continuation of the war may bankrupt us. In this war we didn't lose only cheap GMG fuel and the Kusarian market but we also lost the Gallic market as well and this is expected to have a profound effect in our war economy in the coming months.
