To all Outcast factions,

Firstly, I would like to apologies for not addressing you all individually, for my lack of courtesy I must request I be pardoned.

This concerns you all, but what it means to you, is yours to decide. Yesterday, we received a request from an Outcast group requesting access for larger warships to both Leeds and Newcastle in order to pursue Gallic forces stationed therein.

It has been the stance of Bretonia to deny requests to utilize warships of Outcast origin in any system we control. That being said, with the isolation of Newcastle, and the clear lack of control we have in the spacial theater in Leeds, I called a vote to allow capital ships access to these two systems in order to help us regain control and flush out those that seek to destroy us.

I would like to inform you that the result of this vote, is to grant this permission.
You may now enter the above systems and engage Gallic forces using your heavier assets.

If you find yourselves taking advantage of this new right, for all our sakes, give them a taste of hell while you are here.

Regards,

Commodore John Redmond

Commodore Redmond,

This change of stance on the matter by the Admiralty would no doubt untie our hands in many ways. While Cape Wrath and the Galloway field are not the ideal place for operating and harboring sizable capital fleets, this change would allow us to employ some of our lighter destroyer assets which should theoretically hold an advantage over the Gallic fleet in such conditions.

One such asset is the Citadella, a Storta-class destroyer currently operating in the border worlds between Bretonia and Liberty. Its most optimal route to the Newcastle war theater would be through Manchester, which brings my query regarding the matter - would it be possible for Maltese Legion forces to be granted passage through Manchester for war ships no bigger than destroyer? The system provides key jumphole links between Coronado, Newcastle, Leeds and Magellan, which our forces would benefit from greatly.

Of course, we would understand and respect your decision if the admiralty of Bretonia declines our request. The Tau corridor, while less flexible and efficient, is still a possibility for our forces currently stationed in the border worlds.

En servicio de Malta,
Legionario Eliza Valdez.

To Eliza Valdez

It is good to hear from you again.

I am also glad you are able to make something of our new policy, and I hope your fellow Outcasts will join you.

As to your request to traverse Manchester to get to Newcastle. Considering the close distance from the Coronado hole to the Newcastle hole, I see absolutely no issue with this quick hop through Manchester, I do advise you steer clear of the rest of Manchester however, as Liberty forces may be present.
