There has been many times. Spacetimes are elastic, and all that. And exist in parallel. Of course, there are times of men and there are times of nature. We all grow old and die, which means we perceive the universe separately. There was a time when the Unioners supplied and abetted Custodi expansion within the Sigma cluster. We hope we can do so again.

Nearly a month ago, the Hessians and the Coalition killed nearly a hundred thousand Unioners. We are encamped upon the remains of a prison station, the location of which is known to the federals and to the enemy. We are currently receiving anti-ship mines from the brotherhood to defend our habitat, during the brief détente we have before the federals inevitably attack us again.

We believe that the Custodi have an assured role in the creation of a new security within the routes of an artefact trade. The Unioners have long been the primary source of artifacts flowing from Rheinland into Liberty. Now, given that your relations with the Junkers are not what they were, we are a vital source. The loss of Hamburg to the federals or the Hessians would present a major threat to us both, cutting off the primary artefact route through the Rhein, and splitting our movements apart. We are, by distance alone, the closest friends the corsairs have geographically. We stand to benefit from a revitalised artefact trade.

Our intentions are simple as they are direct. We are aware that the Custodi Grecian corsair populace was intimately involved in the defence of Xi. We request the framework structure for a large solar collection panel. We are aware that the corsairs have a certain history with the manufacture of large-scale solar arrays.


In return, we would be willing to allow Custodi observers, and, should you be inclined, ships, into the Hamburg theatre. It is a fresh front over the security of the artefact trade and distribution net. This would be a direct increase to your influence in the Rheinland elements of the trade and the resulting military-salvage technology fields beyond."
