Nagumo... - Hannigan Smith - 04-21-2019 First of all... What happened in New Tokyo in 825 A.S? A battle and a civil war, and the loss of a permanent base, that also appeared in the original game. But do you know what was lost? The Nagumo? Impossible. I want to know wholly what happened there. What ship was lost? RE: Nagumo... - DarkTails - 04-21-2019 Battleship Nagumo was destroyed during the Imperial exile advance into Kyushu during the civil war. After being pushed back, Nagumo was outgunned by her Imperial contemporary Nagasaki and was destroyed in action during the fighting. Following this was the end of the civil war and reformation of the Empire of Kusari. With the Rheinland invasion, the Nagumos wreck was taken to the primary Imperial shipyard to be broken up and the raw goods recycled into a new warship. RE: Nagumo... - Hannigan Smith - 04-21-2019 Sad story. I like Kusari warships. As warships, I am not going to roleplay as KNF ever. RE: Nagumo... - Yaoquizque - 04-21-2019 Incorrect. Nagumo wasn't destroyed during the battle but sustained heavy damage and was forced to retreat, abandoning Planet Kyushu to the Imperials. Nagumo remained in Kyushu system till the end of civil war, hiding in Seiran. It's only after the end of civil war Nagumo was abandoned, the government judging it was just too costly to repair. It remained as a derelict for a while in Kyushu system... Until Rheinland advance forced the Empire to dismantle it to help the war effort. There was no battle in New Tokyo system. The peace was signed before Imperials could make a move in the system. As far as I know, New Tokyo didn't lose any facility, save for Itabasi, which was a POB operated by Samura| at the time, and that disappeared due to lack of supplies. |
