Good day, Madam President!

As the newly elected Consul of Natio Octavarium, I feel it is my duty to work more closely with our friends and partners in the Crayter Republic on more cooperative ventures, to the benefit of both our nations. We'll hold off on discussion of any economic developments until after the upcoming elections, when we can both better focus on such complex and important matters. Today, I'll limit this discussion to military matters.

The first matter I'd like to discuss is military equipment. The Fourth Octavarium Fleet has been putting the cruiser and gunboats you gifted us to excellent use, and Crayter-made weapons are proving popular with our fighter pilots and marines. Director Jones of Aquila Defense Systems has expressed interest in your fighter and bomber-class ships. We understand that your production capacity is currently needed for the Crayter Military, so we won't ask you to sell the fighters to us. Instead, Aquila would like to produce their own on license, built to exact Crayter Military specification. We would be willing to sell any Aquila-produced fighters to your military to supplement your own production capacity, after the Fourth Fleet's own orders are filled. We will, of course, not sell these ships, or the plans for their construction, to anyone engaged in hostilities with the Crayter Republic. Between our two fleets, I doubt there will be any excess production in any case.

The second matter relates to military action. I have been attempting to contact the Council about assisting in their defence of Roussillon. Should Roussillon and its resources fall under enemy control, they would have an entrenched position from which to attack Tau-44 itself. That is obviously in neither your nor our interest. When the Council responds to my offer, would you be willing to lend ships to the defence as well? We are also willing to assist where we can with your offensive in Tau-31, though obviously defensive operations must take precedence. If your officers can contact mine, we can hammer out details for joint operations.

On a final note, as I previously said, I understand you have elections coming up soon. I wish you the best of luck, and look forward to speaking to you again after your successful reelection.

Good day Consul Riley.

Congrulations are in order for you I must say. We did not hear from Natio Octaviarum lately and we took the liberty of keeping your installations supplied meanwhile.

As we noticed this comm in our NeuralNet accounts, great debates ensued about whether we should share the construction rights or not as that would be one of the greatest things we could provide to a non-Crayter organization. However majority of Quorum, including Admiral Kurt Belzen and Minister of Defense, Daniel Garvey voted in favor of you. As well as unconditional, discounted sale of Hydra-class Corvettes to Octaviarum was the consensus in addition to snubcraft production license. For schematics and additional details, you will have to contact CDI Directorate.

Yours sincerely
