When we first met them, we were informed about their goals within Gallia, and where they're delivering cardamine too. It appears they like to deliver cardamine to one of your bases within the Picardy-system.

Vallery stared the screen silently, listening to the message before lighting a cigarette and pressing it to her lips. "A very important matter to discuss? Well, hopefully it is as important as you have lead me to believe, I don't enjoy my time being wasted. I also don't enjoy being accused of things without a shred of evidence to back it up. So, is there anything to truly discuss, or is this just another useless comm flung across my desk?"

If you are not aware, there is a conflict that we, Le Maquis do not wish to get ourselves involved in, but it appears this was already done. I personally would like to know what is the Gallic Brigands stance on the Maltese organisations and their civil war conflict.
We can then discussion further.

Vallery opened the comm seemingly unamused look on her face. "So you're telling me that you know that someone is delivering Cardamine to me. Like I asked them to as controlling the profitable black market is one of the many things Brigands are interested in. And then you ask my political stance on a house not related to Gallia. Okay." The woman snuffed out the cigarette she had previously had in her mouth. "I'm not interested in a civil war, i'm interested in profit. And Cardamine is profitable, much like many things that are illegal in Gallia and other houses. and I deal in it. I don't care if they're shooting eachother, that kind of thing happens alot. But I will do my business just as I have for years now. Anything else you needed?" Vallery left the comm open for a response.

Oui that is correct. We come to you informing you that we know there are deliveries coming to your installations. We do not agree to it, but we do not have to agree to it for you to like it. You do what you have to do and we will do what we have to do. But what I do not agree with is slave trade. If we see any Maltese vessels inside Gallia with slaves onboard, expect us to stop them and take those slaves away, we are fighting for freedom, not for slavery!
We do not want to involve ourselves in a civil war with Maltesian's but the war is coming closer to our home. The home we are currently fighting for freedom in. To overthrow the King himself, to destroy his lap dogs. To stop the chaos within the Taus while the Bretonian and Libertionan forces are fighting the King's lapdogs in their homes.
What I want to know is, are the Brigands with us or against us when fighting the King and his little lapdogs?

The communication flickered as Vallery appeared on the screen, an even less amused face this time, seeming a bit perturbed. "You should know after our long history together that I share no love for the crown, or other people's freedoms. The only thing I care about is the Brigands, and the profit made from the deals I go through with. If you endanger the deals i've sunk my time and money in to further the Brigands as a faction, I will come for you. We both have the same enemy, and if you're fighting for freedom, I say you should care more about the people of Gallia than those filthy Sirian slaves that the Maltese deal with. And since you threatened me in regards to slaves, the deal I had set up is in regards to cardamine for the black market on Boulogne, which both the Union Corse and the Maquis have access too. I am not interested in their slaves, if I needed those I'd go kidnap some filthy Royal or Loyalist passenger transport. However, the deal I made was concluded awhile ago, any Outcast ship that transports cardamine to Boulogne now does so of their own volition. Not because I asked them too. The black market the Brigands operate pays well for many things from many different peoples, that does not declare our allegiance in any way whatsoever. You will do what you have to do, and I will do what I have to do. Threatening my people and cutting our means of trade off is a great way to end up in a ditch, you're a smart woman, you should know that. Threaten me or my people again and I'll put you in the ground." Vallery lit a cigarette and took a drag, letting out a sigh. "If you are concerned we're getting involved in some other nation's civil war, the answer is I will do so if there is profit to be had, but I generally have very little interest in doing so. I only care for Gallia, and have many plans for it. The outcasts are simply profit to be had on the side to further my goals within the beautiful nation we both share. Now. After this altercation I can clearly see that our alliance isn't as strong as it used to be and i'm interested in making amends to that, another enemy in Gallia isn't very profitable, a stronger alliance with you however, is. The very first thing i'd like to do is open up Beaumont Base in Ill-de-france to your people and their ships, for servicing and an offensive staging point for nearby facilities. I already offered that courtesy to one of your bombers in space after we sunk a Valor together, forget the fellow's name. I would also like to open up Dounby Station in Orkney for your forces should you ever find yourself in that system and would rather not fight your way through the excluded minefield zone to get home for repairs. The base I am currently sending this from is Salbris Base in Orleanis, Knowing your people have no headquarters in that area I would also like to extend the hanger bays and bar to the Maquis there as well, and naturally. I have something to discuss with you over dinner and wine, rather than over a static communication. So you've set up trade market with the Maltese Nations for there Cardamine in return to take Black Market Munitions from Boulogne. Is that correct?
Aslong as your people stay out of our way, we will stay out of yours. But those Maltese come to us looking for a fight, i'm sure they will get one. But we will see. Althought you sat there threatening me is not the wise option, be careful with what you say and how you say it. I can drop a bomb so big you and your people will not survive. Just be careful who you try make an enemy with those threats.

The comm opened with Vallery checking over a couple of things before lighting a cigarette and looking into the monitor. "Glad to see we're finally on the same page, when it comes down to the Maltese I have no interest in fighting their battles, and I've kept our trade just that, trade. Should the Maltese encroach upon our territory I will fire upon them, I permitted only transports with minimal escorts. As for your facilities being opened to us i'm sure that will be of great use to us. On the topic of Bretonia though, as I've already stated my only interest is in Gallia. Anything that goes on beyond the borders of our nation is of no concern to me. However, let me know if your people need some supplies brought to your outlying bases and i'll see what I can do for you. My current interest in Gallia is cutting off the crown and their supporters from the borders, ransacking their outlying stations and transports so we have complete control of what goes in, and what goes out. I'm sure you can understand my reasoning for such a thing, and support the plan. Whatever you do in the Bretonian sector isn't of consequence to me or my people. As such I do not wish to know your plans, do let me know if you need assistance inside of Gallia or any of the resources at my disposal and aid shall be yours. I would like to speak with you however about an upcoming project I had planned, should it bare the fruits of our labor it could prove an invaluable asset to the both of us.
