Good day!

todays report is a special one as I have plenty to share. We had prepared for an expedition into the Omicrons and began our travel at Bristol Depot. Escorting us was the Bounty Hunter Faye Wright. Together with the crew of the Pittsburgh I was also accompanied by Ellena on the Queensdale.

Moving on we travelled for Planet Kurile where we would begin our expedition. I had ordered surveying equipment to be delivered to Atka too.
Our flight through Rheinland was mostly uneventful apart from a BIS convoy passing us without using the lanes. It appeared like they were coming from the restricted cloud in Frankfurt. We did a few basic scans and continued on our way.

Picking up the surveying equipment on the way we reached Planet Kurile. We picked up H-Fuel both for our expedition and to deliver to Ennibeck Spaceport in Omicron Delta. Travelling there was an amazing experience. Space truly is magnificent but also dangerous as we'd soon feel ourselves. Though we encountered no notable issues until we reached Ennibeck we would at first not have any success. The first asteroid belt wasn't having any resources of note, nor was the planet we did a basic scan on.

It was only when, after unsuccessfully scanning the star's ring system that we entered the Palau Ice Cloud. Not only was it magnificent to look at, hidden inside is what appeared like a broken apart planet. And it had revealed quite the treasure. We managed to retrieve plenty of Iridium Ore samples. But while this was an amazing find it wasn't even the biggest.

Further into the nebula we found more parts of the massive rock. And on it some strange structures. I assume it must've been nomad built at least they were very aggressive about it. I'd never seen one myself and suddenly we were under attack by one! It was only thanks to our escort and the Queensdales formidable defenses that we survived the attack and destroyed the nomad. We picked up some wreckage we'll report to the Rheinland authorities soon.

That break allowed us to push further. The whole surface of the planetoid was covered in Nomad structures but the biggest find was the entrance into it. Inside was a massive glowing structure. We took a few samples and later on Bristol identified it as 'Azurite Gas'. Considering the legal status in Rheinland we will hand that over as well. We soon took our exit as the radiation wasn't neglectable even by the Pittsburgh's heavy armor.

To be entirely safe, we retreated for Freeport 9 in Omicron Theta. There we agreed on the plan to pass through Kusari. To bypass Liberty we had Faye transport the dangerous cargo through Laptev. I'm very glad we had that surveyed this year. It helped immensely.

Once at Bristol, we paid Faye the fee for the Iridium contract of the job board. I hope the 50 million will ensure her friendship in regards to the contraband.

What I certainly realised, is that we need to give the Pittsburgh more security if we plan further missions of this sort.

Thank you and good bye!

Good day!

I have great news and bad news. Great news first, all repairs at Bristol main have been completed. The station is running at peak efficiency with only minor modules missing. And while we do have a distant cargo expansion planned, we can focus on other things for the time being.

Which brings me to todays shipment run. We moved Rheinbier from Bristol to Manhattan. There we picked up Industrial Hardware only to be stopped mid lane by a Rogue in New York. The so called Pirate.Princess threatened to attack us if we didn't pay five million credits.

We did pay that of course, not risking any life or assets. But this is the second piracy attack in two weeks. I'll put up a bounty again but we have to seriously consider to up our security!

Thank you and good bye!

Good day!

So we received a request for salvaging services within Bering. This time it was the Hansa as we noticed on arrival. The unprotected Titanic was quickly stocked up with Salvage and told us they couldn't afford the going rate of 2,000cr because that is the price they sell it for.

Later on they showed me where, it turns out that they still maintain the decaying Rothaar Huette base and trade the salvage for 2,000cr per cargo unit. Shocking really.

I've returned aboard the Pittsburgh. It might be neccessary to try and lobby a stop to their operations.

Thank you and good bye!

Our transports: BCV-Queensdale, BCV-Fairbanks, BCV-Vancouver and BCV-Diessa Plateau carrying necessary materials for the construction safely moored onto Freeport 11 in Omicron Delta.

Right now, we're waiting for a green light so we can begin the construction.

Good day!

today we went out and tested our newest Surveyor-class miner. The ship was a great success maneuvering the dense fields. That allowed for quick recovery of valuable salvage. Sadly it won't be able to operate on its own like the Pittsburgh can. Regardless we spotted an illegal Junker Salvager of the 'Free Trade People' in the field. We informed him that he wasn't permitted and demanded the salvage. The Junker in turn destroyed the valuable cargo so we were regrettably forced to destroy the vessel.

Later on we moved in with the Pittsburgh only to find another Junker salvaging operation. Imperial shipping and a Hogosha was present. While we would have supplied the transports gladly, dealing with the Junker held us up. And then the LPI arrived. And eventually the BDM. The police forces demanded the cargo of all ships to be dropped. This resulted in the destruction of the Imperial Shipping vessel. We salvaged all dropped cargo. The BDM then later offered trade relations with us. We will see what comes out of that.

During the encounter with these. Another FTP vessel showed up and declared us 'targets'. In front of the LPI and BDM too!

Bristol security has been informed and will shoot them if they approach the Depot.

Thank you and good bye!

Subject: New Convoy Escort Policy

.

Esteemed employees and contractors of the company,

Because our company has less working capital than our other large competitors, we have to rely on the sustainability of our business. For this reason, two I commissioned the accounting department to examine our economic options weeks ago. The document produced was reviewed by senior management within our division and a new guideline 829-A4-E - ‘On Compensation of Escort Vessels Within Our Convoys’ was unanimously agreed.

As amended by this new guideline, escort vessels are entitled to 10% of net profits per each escort vessel in the convoy, up to a maximum of 50%.

The purpose of this new policy is to incentivize safety professionals to escort our vessels so that our losses are as low as possible - primarily due to the higher insurance fees assessed to us because of our business strategy in centered around the Independent Systems.

This directive will go into effect starting 07-12-829. Thank you for your attention.

Have a pleasant and productive day,
Daniel J. Lennox,
Bristol C&M.
